Hi ! New here, last week I bought a 2014 GT with a VMP supercharger. I bought it at a dealership and they “don’t have any information on it”. It has an 82mm pulley and the twin jet 67mm TB. Is it best to fill with 93 ? Also it’s a weekend car, so it just been hanging out in the garage so far.

You should put nothing but 93 in there, some octane booster wouldn't hurt either. Get that tune checked out to be sure its safe and let it rip.

Oh god please don’t beat on it until you’ve ran out all the old gas and fill up with top tier 93. Who knows what the hell the dealership put in the tank, probably the cheapest 87 they could find.

The problem is, you bought a car, and don't know anything about the current tune. I would NOT go wide open throttle, until you get it on the dyno, and verify the proper tune. For all you know, the ECU has the stock tune on it.

Dealership only had it for 6 days. When I bought it it had a 1/2 tank of gas still. Shocking. I used 93 from shell once it got down to 1/4. Planning on having it dynoed hopefully late next week.

One would like to think it had 93 octane in it, but you never know with a dealer. I'd run the tank lower than 1/4 since you have a bit of a reserve and if it wasn't 93 octane in there that is a good amount of lower grade gas left in the tank with a boosted car. Maybe run the tank you just filled up with 93 shell down low and top it off again to be safe. The VMP unit is a solid unit from one of the best Mustang tuners in America. One would assume that if they bought a VMP unit that VMP would be the one to tune it, but better safe than sorry. Did it come with a tune box by chance? If not you should probably buy a tune box so you can download/upload tunes and datalog the car.

First I would try and find the previous owner on FB and see what's really been done to it. Could be tuned for E85 as well but I would run it on 93 for now and me personally I would get a re-tune.
