ADM exist because of people like you. Something I wouldn't brag about . I work hard also just not willing to flush it down the toilet. I can act like an adult and curb the childish behaviour of "I want it now" for any cost. A smart man earns his money and get as much value from it. We all know the saying about a fool and his money....

You remind me of a guy who bought a gt350r and trailered it everywhere said it was going to be a collectors item paid over sticker for it too. You remind me of him. Absolutely no clue!

we both want the car. its not hurting financially to get for either of us. ill use 1 weeks worth of my time to get it now. you will wait 9-12-18 months to have it. which one sounds logical?

A lot of my really smart, extremely rich friends, don't frequent forums. So you're right, they wouldn't get on here and brag about it.

Actually I have my deal locked in. Getting it at list. I'm just not one to brag. Since I'm piling on got my 2013 at 2.5k under and picked in up october of 2012.

Like I said it's about relationships and not money. I might even get it before you.

Tax in DE is like 3.5%, and i dont want CF or track pack. Only tech, recaros, CF interior and black roof

depends what % of your income the total is, and when you get it. Arrogance is telling someone who works hard, that spending another 1 weeks pay to get a vehicle 9 months before the next guy is stupid.

$10k to $15k ADM ? That seems to be way more than 1 extra week of pay for a lot of people.

because their ego wont let them say so on the internet. too much machismo to admit that they will pay the max they can afford, or wait years until they find one that fits their socialist morals. Everyone is capitalist when it suits them, and socialist when it doesnt

I would not classify myself as a socialist...but I am a solid capitalist.

whats the most your willing to pay for the car?

I could not tell what I’m willing to pay for a 2020 GT500...I need to see more details and stats to determine that. That one factor I do know is that price I’m willing to pay will not exceed the MSRP.

this, simply this. its either a deal to both, or its not, regardless of what the piece of paper states.

one of my side business is belts. i buy them in bulk at roughly $3/ea, modify them for $10/ea ( fabric and labor) and sell them for $85/ea. And wouldnt ya know it. they sell, and fast. should the msrp be $35/ea simply because thats fair or "suggested"? Ooooor should it be dictated by the consumers and i will maximize my profits until they dont sell and i reduce the price incrementally until they do?

Well your the manufacturer of your product. You can make the MSRP whatever you want. May be you should put a $35 MSRP price right next to your $85 price on the tag and see if anyone questions that.

For an American their is only 1 correct answer to that ;)

I think a handful of people will get the close buddy hook up but 99% will pay and adm to get one in the first 3 months. After that I think it’ll be about 75% paying adms

whos paying 10-15k? I know im not. you can be a capitalist and believe what you just wrote/ you dont know the max your willing to pay bu know its not over msrp? 69k msrp + 10k adm = 79k +0 adm. whats the difference?

oh, and my msrp is 85/belt :) if you want to buy the belts and resell them at a higher cost, by all means, you are free to do that. they will either sell or they wont :)

Some dealerships say they may have ADM as high as $15K. I would not be surprised someone pays that. As you indicate, your not paying that either.

If the car comes in at at an MSRP of $80k, as an example, and based on what I have heard about the GT500.....that seems to be reasonable when compared to other performance cars with that type of horsepower. However, adding $10k ADM to that price versus waiting or buying used seems to be unreasonable. Do you think you can sell or trade your car for $10k more than the average value of a similar GT500 in a few years to recoup the ADM?

Lets talk about your belts. You established your MSRP is $85, which is fine. I’ve seen other belts with a higher “MSRP”. Your belts may be top notch and a bargain at $85. However, I have not seen your belts or any other belts, for that matter, generate controversy or discussions such as a car. If I decided to sell your belts (now I’ma dealer) and I display the “MSRP” of $85 with my price of $135 on the same tag for the consumer to see.....do you think I would have pre-orders and CNN talking about your belts that I sell? My instinct says no. You know belts better than I do. I have never seen a store mark-up belts from the MSRP.
