Hey everybody I just recently purchased a 2014 GT500 with around 680-700RWHP and I love it! But I’m having a issue when I go WOT the front end pulls and wobbles different ways and feels like it’s floating in the air? I drove other Shelby’s and never experienced this before. What could be wrong thanks.

Rebalance tires and set proper air pressure maybe
Launching with full slicks on a prepped track gives me the same feelings. You sure you are not getting air?:)JK. Check alignment/balancing for tires up front. Actually check all tires...sometimes a misalignment in back will give you the feeling of a front end issue...

I would put the car up on ramps or a lift and take a good look at the entire suspension system for loose, worn, or missing parts. Do your front shocks feel like they dampen during compression and rebound?

I felt that way after first set of mods at 680 rwhp it was super sketchy but I had on PSS's I literally felt like I was going to lift off the ground up front. Then I installed the 555Rs in back with 555 G2s out front and once it stuck it went away.

Check your front camber and overall alignment. You'd be surprised what a difference that will make.

What kind of rear tires? I ask because I noticed mine feels the same way @WOT after installing new tires on the rear (Micky Thompson ET Street S/S).
When I 1st bought the car I never went WOT cause it had the factory Goodyear’s and it would blow the tires off the back doing a 85mph roll ( also has 373s) I more noticed it when I put the mickey Thompson ET street S/S on the car 305/35/20. Like after 100 mph @WOT it feels funny and when I let off the gas the hole car wobbles left right multiple times. It’s getting me pretty aggravated controlling the rear and front under WOT

I think it's the tires. Softer compound and sidewall = more flex perhaps. Especially if you're running them on the stock 9.5" wheels. I have them on 11" wheels and haven't noticed a constant wobbly feel at higher speeds (yet), mainly happens to me when taking off aggressively from a dig. I've tested on a few different roads/surfaces (concrete & asphalt) and it wobbles consistently

My tire combo is nitto 555 up front (still) & for years I ran the 555r drag radial on the back with zero issues. Installed the ET street S/S tires and immediately noticed this loose/wobbly feel in the steering. I changed the steering wheel adjustment to the most firm setting to help counter the issue to some degree but it doesn't solve it.

The MT's hook decently on the streets around me but I may end up going back to the 555r drag radial because of this weird feeling with the MT's. Not to mention if the rears happen to break traction AND the front is wobbly...that's going to be a handful to manage.

I’m taking it next week to have all the tires balanced and have a front end alignment done, hopefully this will fix the issue cause a salvaged fox body will drive Better then the Shelby does
