How far have you traveled for a car?

1600 miles for my 2019 ram 4x4. $10k off sticker was the best deal I could find. Went another 3 hours south and bought a 14 ft tandem enclosed trailer from the factory for $2300 less than I could buy in it in Colorado. It cost me an $80 one way plane ticket, about $400 in gas, and a couple nights in a hotel.

I forgot about a trip I took. Flew to Newark to buy and drive home to Georgia "because it was in such good shape " a Chevelle only to find it so full of rust that the frame was almost gone. Rented a car and drove home. Learned so much on that trip.

I drove 20 minutes for my first cobra.

Not so lucky on the 2nd, 25 hour round trip for it.

Bay Area to Seattle for an ‘01 Ram 2500 4x4. The prices in the Bay Area are a joke. Saved thousands.

I’ve done 14hrs twice with my first two Cobra’s. Both from Michigan. One was driven and the other trailered.

Last month I did a 9hr trailer ride with my latest acquisition. The car I got from CA was shipped - no way I’m doing a coast to coast

If you’re buddy is down to drive and trailer it do that! It’ll be fun and less stressful.

I drove from El Paso to Fresno in a rental pickup truck with my ZX10R in the back. 15hrs. Drove my Cobra back.

Funny asking a guy “will I make it” as I’m handing over a check lol.

I flew to Dallas from West Palm Beach, picked up my current '09 GT500 at a dealer, drove to Hattiesburg, MS where I stopped for the night, and then drove her home that day to Ft. Lauderdale.

Me and a buddy flew from Virginia to El Paso to buy my mystichrome back in 2012. The owners lived in New Mexico and met us at the airport. Drove it all the way back to Virginia, never knew Texas was that big before then...
