*Mechanic knowledge is slim

So I want to do a turbo build on my Mach 1 but I think I might’ve done the build a little wrong already. I have aftermarket headers, throttle body, x-pipe, exhaust, and stage 2 clutch. I’ve been reading about the turbo piping and now realizing that whatever turbo you get has it’s own set of headers and that a tune might not be compatible with the aftermarket parts already on (correct me if I’m wrong). So my question is with the setup I have now is there any way to use it the way it is and get a turbo build or do I have to pretty much remove everything and put on whatever parts come with the kit?

As for right now my next upgrade will be 4.10 gears.

get it dyno tuned and they should be able to account for whatever mix of parts but most of the exhaust isn't gonna work. You can sell it and recoup some of your money

Might be able to use the throttle body. Most likely since your intake will work.

Headers: No
Xpipe: depends on turbo kit; if it’s for long tubes it’s a maybe. Xpipe for shorties can’t see it.

4:10s no

while we're at it - those aftermarket throttle bodies for our cars tend to have a lot of tune/driveability issues, you may be better off just staying stock. With a centri or turbo the TB isn't that important, I easily make over 700 on my procharged car with a stock TB. If you had a PD blower it's a whole other story.

Ya mine is kind of giving me a little trouble now, but not too much. I still have the stock one so if anything I can just put that one back on. Thanks again man

Aftermarket throttle bodies add zero power and offer no other benefits; a serious waste of money.

A turbo system requires and aftermarket K member and coil overs.

your headers and 4.10s gears will have to go.
