SOLD SOLD SOLD

Hey Everyone. Up for sale is my 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra in Torch Red. I am the third owner and I’ve owned the car for around 7 years since ~25,000 miles (Car now has 48,600 miles). This is one of the cleanest cars you will find, owned and maintained by a Ford Performance (formerly SVT) Powertrain Engineer. Never seen snow/salt and very occasional rain (sometimes you get caught off guard). Underbody is spotless and car is straight as an arrow. Interior is in great shape too, wear on bolsters is minimal and treated with leather care few times a year. Car has some squeaks and rattles indicative of turn of the century Ford and a 15 year old car but mechanically sound and minimized with replacements of ball joints, wheel bearings, bushings.

It has been modified within the spirit of its origin, my take on a Cobra R. Haven’t dyno’d since porting blower 2 years ago, MAF and MAP readings should put it around 500whp.

Modifications include:

- LFP dual pass heat exchanger with 13-14 GT500 IC pump and overflow tank
- Ported Eaton M112 with 2.76 pulley and 4 piece red anodized billetflow idlers with ported TB
- Fender well K&N intake with 100mm SCT big air MAF with catch can loop
- BAMA tune with OBD tuner
- BBK long tube headers/EGR delete/Catless H-pipe/Magnaflow catback
- Solid Rack bushings / Prothane front control arm and sway bushings / MM solid race u-joint steering shaft (no slop) / Prothane urethane engine mounts
- New balljoints / inner tied rods / Steeda bumper steer outer tie rod kit
- HR race springs w/ original bilstein monotube dampers
- MM caster/camber plates (alignment is 6 months old)
- MM subframe connectors (weld in)
- MM strut tower brace
- Front slotted 13” rotors w/ rear 13” upgrade from full tilt boogie with Stoptech pads
- Mach 1 lip (have original as well)
- Headlights are 6000k HID / fog lights are yellow 3000k HID
- 18x9 / 18x10.5 AFS chrome replicas with 275/35/18 & 315/30/18 R888r tires (rears are new, fronts 70%)
- Fully built IRS (MM delrin bushings, hardened toe links, new wheel bearings/hubs w/ Moroso hardened studs, Ford racing cast/ribbed IRS cover, MM subframe bushings, MM diff bushings, billetflow IRS reinforcement)
- MGW billet short shifter
- Aeroforce interceptor scan gauge and steering column pod
- Stock Forged Termi longblock

I have a ton of history with this car and I do not take selling it lightly. This car has been all over Woodward, Ford employee car shows, Roush open houses, 50 years of mustang entry. Asking price is $25,000. Car is located in Novi MI, I am not willing to travel (you come to me) and no trades.

Thanks for looking, Jeff

pics uploaded, parts list updated, price is negotiable within reason. Most important thing is finding a good home.

might be a potential question other people might have, but why was the steering wheel changed?

Redline Motorsports alcantara wheel, matched the rest of the car with red stitching and charcoal for the seats. I have the original one as well.

You say minimal wear on seat bolsters...? How can you say that? Drivers seat looks terrible.
Are you kidding me? I don't know if the flash is throwing you off but the leather is in great shape. No cracks or splitting, stitching has no pulls and the color is incredibly consistent with the rest of the leather insert in the rear and passenger. I condition the leather 3 times a year, yes it has creasing in it, it's 15 years old.....
