Yea, everything I’ve seen on them have been good. Wasn’t sure if anyone had tried them here.

I guess I don't see the point or the concept. As I understand it (maybe some of you can fill me in if I'm mistaken) it simply remaps the voltage profile from fully disengaged to WOT to have a customized accelerator value (instead of linear).

So in essence, all it does is make it so that it gives it more or less fuel along the range from idle to floor.

I don't get it, you'd think that you'd calibrate your foot/mind to know how much fuel/power you're wanting from the car and when, and that having a linear spread would be the best for that.

I was looking into this for my 2013 GT500 and from what I found out, the cars computer eventually overrides the outside controller.

I have one on my car. I basically bought it (second hand) because I want to wait til I'm around 15-20K miles of trouble-free ownership before I void my warranty on the motor by tuning it. I feel like if I haven't had any issues by then I'm assuming I won't have any. I'm currently around 10,500 miles and so far, so good. (knock on wood.)

It definitely makes a difference on how quickly the throttle responds and eliminates that lag from pressing the pedal to actual acceleration. I keep mine set low on the positive side as it does make the throttle very touchy on some of the higher settings.

That’s awesome, I’m in the same boat as far as tuning. My warranty runs out in August. I’m thinking of going the E85 route. Having a tune for both 93 and E85 so I can switch between the two. But yea that what I’ve heard from most people about the pedal commander. I just wanted to see what people said that have it on a gt350.

Does it actually tune the car or just tune the gas pedal? To make more throttle response and trick the mind into a better feel? It’s not actually making more power is it?

The latter. It's not a tune and it doesn't give you any actual extra HP, but it gives the impression of more power because the car becomes way more responsive. Good thing too is that it won't void your warranty, just unplug it if you should need to bring the car in for warranty work.

Correct. It simply piggy backs the throttle position voltage signal and adjusts it's output to the ECU. So instead of a linear voltage from zero to max, it reforms the curve so to front load the voltage so when you barely mash the go lever, it gives more fuel than the stock voltage settings.

I have an autoblip installed and it works similarly, in that under specified conditions (brake+clutch in that order) it takes over and "blips" the throttle input momentarily (irrespective of user/pedal input) as a rev match tool.

The good news is that there's no way for the ECU to know there's any add on device so as long as you remove before the dealer has the car, they won't try to give you warranty grief over it.

i almost want to try it now. there not crazy expensive

The autoblip is a little pricey, but honestly what makes it regrettable was the installation. Granted, I had to tap the brake pedal and the clutch pedal as well, but it was a pain in the ass. Hopefully they have a simple plug and play add. If not, plan on either removing the driver's seat or laying on your back in a contorted position cursing as you try to tap several wires.

Every video I’ve seen was a simple plug in installation. They removed maybe one panel, plugged it in and hid. The device has a Bluetooth option so you can hide and use your phone to control. With that said I haven’t seen a video with them installing it on a mustang or gt350 so I’m not sure.
