Finally ran the car at the wannagofast 1/2 mile event yesterday, car did very well considering it was 90+ degrees outside. I didn’t know what to expect but was hoping to break into the 140’s. Car has a home ported blower, 2.76 pulley, x-pipe, 3” catback, trunk mounted ice tank, stock manifolds and stock lower on e85. Made 530/503. All three passes I slipped the clutch around 3500 and had traction issues until 3rd. Also outran a intake and tune 2019 ZL1

I’m very happy with how the car performed.

had no idea ocala did a half mile event. I would have checked it out.

Makes sense now that I raced a guy in a camaro last week who said he raced 1/2mi. I actually pulled on him in 2nd gear, even though he said he was @ 1k hp. Figured he couldn't get traction at that speed, cause his car sounded like a monster with the turbos...

Great runs. 1/2 mule is on my list, unfortunately the one I went to here in N.O. was shut down after a couple of runs due to a fatal wreck. Congrats, I'm sure it was blast

Very nice! And that corn tune ran incredibly consistent, especially being 90+ out. No shame losing to a Mclaren....it took a while for it to start gapping

Congrats on the win! Impressive Cobra. I just went through another thread of the Ocala 1/2 Mile. Wanagofast is a great venue.

Thanks! Yeah, can't believe it went the same mph every pass. I went there with a goal of breaking into the 140's so I was very pleased with the 146. I wanted to run it some more but didn't feel the need to keep beating on it. Pretty safe to say that's about all it had in it that day. I got out a good bit on the Mclaren, he was struggling for traction most of the pass.

Thank you! I ran my turbo sn95 there in Oct and it was a blast. Would like to take the cobra back when it cools back down here in FL and see if it picks up any MPH.

Can't wait to see what it'll do in the 1/4 mile.

Surprised the masses haven’t tried lynching you for boosting in 5th gear

Your car did well! Half mile drag racing looks like a blast! You definitely held that mclaren off for awhile, I’d brag about that one! Would you say you bested him in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile? What tires and suspension setup are you running. Looked like you had small amounts of wheel hop going on. Any IRS work done to the car?

Lol Thanks! I'm running E85, a good trunk trunk tank setup and very conservative timing so I wasn't worried a bit. Will be doing it again once it cools down here in Florida. Mclaren was struggling for traction most of the pass and I held him off into 5th so it was a little ways past the 1/4 mile. I'm running 315/35R17 Hoosier's and the suspension is mostly stock. It's got bushings/brace as well as level 5 axles. Car hooked well considering the surface wasn't that great and I was running 30lbs of air in them.

Would you mind listing your Tank setup??
