Thanks man! It is even more impressive that it is the first wash after a two day Time Trial race. "Some" of the track rubber strikes on the car washed off, but a few of the heavy strikes will require Mother's Racing Rubber Remover. There is a nasty one on the roof!

I'm impressed w/it so far; the water just beads and rolls off. But I also haven't been applying as instructions dictate. After washing the car, instead of spraying on the entire car and hosing off, I've been spraying small sections and then wiping off, allowing the towels to soak up the hose rinse and ceramic spray. This way I'm ensuring it's getting full coverage on the car. Seems to be working well and does not streak or leave visual residue, but it sure is slick as heck.

Like I said, I'm sold & will be buying more.

I used it on my black mustang and was happy with it. It was in stock at oreillys. Very easy to use and a great shine! I also applied to each panel while drying the car. I didn’t get any on the plastic trim or glass, but I assume it would not hurt it. Car is not a daily and never gets very dirty.

I'm not a big turtle wax fan, as I usually use meguires stuff, but I've seen some videos on youtube where the turtle wax Ice spray on wax is just as good as the Meguiers Hybrid ceramic wax and is cheaper.

Just purchased some for myself yesterday and shipped some to a friend to try. Since I can get it extremely cheap, figured it's worth a shot on the wife's car. I've been using Mckee's Hydro Blue Sio2 the last month on my car, so it'll be interesting to compare.

Been a hobbiest detailer as a side business for 29 years. My clients love this as an alternative to ceramic coatings. Manager of Advanced Auto gave me a bottle to try. Works well for what it is.. Real ceramic coatings go for $800 and up around here. When i use this in one of my detail packages, i charge about $250, depending on size of car.

The next time I do a clean my car, I'm most likely going to apply the McKee's Paint Coating they just sent me (replacement bottle and I've been wanting to try an actual coating forever). So what I may end up doing is, apply half of McKee's Hydro Blue Si02 to one side of the wife's car and Megs HCW on the other side.

The real test is the friend of mine who works up in MN in the oil fields and his truck sees mud/dirt like no tomorrow. He recently sent me a bunch of pictures after having someone detail the inside of his truck, and, well, dang (it was so dirty)... His exterior care was simply driving through swirl-o-matics and his paint shows that. So, sent him the Megs HCW to try and we'll see how it does.

I'm curious what other services come with the $250 package with this?

Complete detail, inside and out. All the bells and whistles. To do hybrid ceramic correctly. Surface prep is a must. I use megs 160 grain claybar, then apply the hybrid coating. My normal detail rates are 135. A clay bar and detail is 175. A claybar + hybrid ceramic is 250. Aside from my real estate i stay covered up on detail business. About 400 cars a year. Ill post some of my work later and my link if anyone wants to see what or how i do things. I just enjoy making cars beautiful. Working for myself. Just in detailing, real estate aside i earned a little under 64k in 2018. Thats traveling money!!

Heres some examples of my work. I have 3 buy here pay here dealerships, 2 specialty dealership, asheville savings bank fleet, a funeral home, sheriffs dept, a few attorneys and doctors office's that i serve. I don't and havent posted a lot about my detailing because detailers dont realize theres 457 different ways to do something and they love to argue about how they do things different. 1) i dont care how you do things. 2)this is me, i do things how I do them and it works for me. Heres a link to my page, im always giving tutorials and lessons. Im old school. I use my hands. No rotaries, no foam cannon sprayers which are the gayest thing i have ever seen btw.

Precise Auto Polishing & Consulting

If i can help anyone learn how to do something, just ask.

My dad used to have a few customers that had a contract to have their car detailed a couple times a year. It was his way of saying thank you for being a customer. A few months back I did the last detail job for a customer. The shop has been closed for quite a while now, so I was glad to see that part of things come to an end. I could have stopped detailing as soon as the shop closed, but I felt like these people deserved to get what they expected and paid for.

Every other week a car would come in and need paint correction due to automatic car washes, people not being careful, and normal everyday bumps and scuffs. I never got into ceramic coatings, just a good coat of carnuba wax.

After I hand washed the vehicle, it would be clayed. I would go over the car with my light and a dry erase marker, and point out everything I needed to clean up. From there the fun would begin. I would color match random chips, water sand the spots level, and then take care of any swirls in the paint. I always did a final polish by hand to ensure no flaws were missed. Then I would wax and do the normal interior and exterior dressing.

If I had a truck I would likely keep doing this as a side business for a few of the old customers. They no longer have anywhere to bring their car too, so I would have to go to them.

If I had a climate controlled garage with a ton of space, it would be a decent way to make a few extra dollars.
