I'm with 98svt on this it had basically 1 purpose so why not go with a indestructible SRA but i guess its easy for us to second guess when its not our money in redesign and R&D lol
ZYBORG i do believe it makes it handle a lot better

I think they were talking about the drive shaft floggin' the shit outta the underside of the Unibody!!
Floor pans are stupid easy to replace. Most just spot weld and panel bond in. Seam seal and paint inside and out....back to normal.

However I would still like to see mopar step up and resolve it but people make such a big deal out of this like similar doesn’t happen to other cars when they blow a driveshaft, or half shafts.

I'm surprised no one has started putting a solid axle under it.
They sell kits to do it and a few have if I’m not mistaken. They also sell a brace that pretty much resolved this and others have reinforced the mount flanges on the diff which are the weak point. The problem is all the above corrections void the warranty on the demon so that’s why most just leave it be for now.

Soooo...why not just sell it with the SRA??
Would have avoided all these issues, and it's a hell of a lot more stout.
Demon owners dont give 2 shits about how the car takes a corner.

If I had to guess.... bean counters. The rear is the same across the board if I’m not mistaken.

Drag packs have a SRA so not like it would need much if any design tweaks. Sounds to me like the demon should have had a SRA to make it fit its niche that much better

Demon isnt just a drag car.... it is a street car that can do some very very impressive things on the 1/4 track.

they're probably following Ford's lead. Chevy did it too with the Camaro. Even though the vette has had irs since the beginning of time.

I don’t disagree, just stating that there is a much more cost effective fix. Also they are running pretty solid 60ft times with that IRS so it’s not that big of a deal.

Could they be quicker 60s with a SRA?
