Oh i know about polishing! I do mine 2x a year. Those look beautiful! You got any pics from a different angle? I am always interested in something different.
Here's a kinda quarter angle. Let me know if you need a closeup shot. All I gotta do is walk downstairs to the garage & snap some.
Interesting about classics. A great looking wheel but Heck everyone has them, I've had them too. My CO Vert has SP500's so I'm not new to CCW's.
The 16a was something different. I really like them & haven't seen a set on another Terminator yet.

I agree! And ThankYou. When I first saw this style I was like damn! Gotta have it.
Mirror polished wheels is like black cars. I've got one of those too.
To keep them right, is a chore. Perfect will drive you INSANE. But done right, yeah. Then you win. (In your own mind anyway) and that's all that matters in the tweaker car world. Lol.

Used the Adams ceramic wheel coating kit
Dang Man give us some details. I'm all in for some new ideas on keeping these wheels looking mint.
Any shade less than mint is a failure in my garage. Its tough love when you have wheels of this quality.
One thing I've learned, microfiber towels? Even the expensive ones? Don't use them. They will give you micro-scratches.
After years of screw ups & learning from a few others, buy terry cloth towels. Wash them in hot water to break them down & polish away. Mirror Finish is just that. Like a mirror.
It comes down to how you want to maintain these wheels. When new, it's heaven. In time, it's hell to keep them pristine. But it can be done, if you want it bad enough.

Started with the virgin wheels of course fresh off the fedex truck.

The wheels were of course impeccable to begin with. The adams kit comes with a coating prep that removes any impurities or wax left over from the surface. So cleaned them with this and made sure they were absolutely clean before applying the actual ceramic coat.

The coating is a 9H which is pretty hard from my understanding.

Did the entire wheel about a fourth at a time starting with the barrels and the back of the spokes.

Apply the coating let it "dry" for about 3 minutes, then with a the microfiber that came with the kit remove the coating. Its supposed to be about 3 o 4 microns thick. I might have put it on a little thicker than what the instructions called for but came out good.

Let the wheels sit for about 18 hours then hit it with a ceramic booster (came with kit) and was done.

Afterwards I did a clear coat on the tires (tuf shine) to give the tires the shine and thats it.

Washed the wheels this weekend and they are very much hydrophobic. I hit them with the hose and dried them with a leaf blower did really have to do much else other than that on the wheels.

Any other questions let me know. thanks
