Interesting. I wonder if it will be built near the Michigan Grand Central Train Station since that is where R&D for future autonomous cars seems to be going.

The article is very misleading, from what I’ve read they are repurposing an existing building, and this will be a facility where the vehicles are “finished”, not necessarily built.

What did you expect? For Ford to create an entirely new platform just for autonomous cars? That would make zero business sense for Ford.
