That looks good.

Time for me to crack my bottle open.

Since this contains silicone in the form of Silicone Dioxide (SiO²) will this cause problems with paint prep if an area needs to be touched up or repainted?

More Mystichrome photos Post one newer pic of your ride (EVERYONE!!)

The pollen stuck to the car, but it was high humidity in the morning. We'll see how easily it washes off. I also had a little bit of streaking on the Cobra vs. the ZL1. I used more product, so more is not better with this stuff. I was able to buff out the few streaks with a damp microfiber, but it would be a pain in the ass if it was all over the car.

So, a conclusion made yet? I saw some videos on that YouTube thingy that says maybe, maybe not

I like it. I think some people have expectations that are beyond a $10 to $15 product. I see no reason why not to use it as part of my regular washing. I've used it on two cars and 9/10ths of the bottle is left. I think the only argument is if you like something better. This product wasn't going to "boil the ocean" or "reinvent the wheel." It is a "ease of use" product that delivers good results at a low cost.

Any additional info on the '1st through 4' coat procedure?

I keep seeing different ways to apply this appropriately

I like will spray the first coat on each individual panel, wetting the panel with a spray bottle first. Then wipe it on in a cross hatch. I let it sit for just a moment, and then buff off any streaks.

I'm applying over carnuba wax.

I hope to detail the Mustang this week. I can give a fair assessment then.

I have detailed a couple of my guitars just to mess with the product. It really does shine, and it is slick.

I did the second spray and wash off on the Camaro today. The car was easier to clean and it had a fresh waxed extreme beading when I blasted it with the hose.

I bought 2 more bottles off Amazon. I don't want to run out now. I used more product on the spray off wash. Two cars for a base layer and one maintenance spray has used 1/2 a bottle.

You probably gain very little from a ”precision” application. Any streaks can be easily buffed out with a damp microfiber.
