Unchecked bureaucracy seeks to control in ever increasing degrees. It is our fate, if the D's take control. How simple to mandate that your car computer must check in weekly, and if altered, it will shut down and alert authorities.

Don't worry Tony when that day comes and hopefully its long away when the Dems take over full control you can be assured of having to pay a miles driven road tax to go along with the rain tax in some libturd states like NJ already and I am sure the air tax is coming soon behind it.

And those with older cars will simply disconnect the speedo cable for long periods of time and use the tach for speed control. :)

This doesn’t surprise me in the least. Ever since the EU was founded it was bound to turn into a absolute shit show.
All I hope for is that non of these penis/nut tucking countries ask for assistance from the US when they are caught with their panties down dealing with a conflict.

CARB rules govern emissions in roughly 25% of states.

United States emission standards - Wikipedia

"Due to its preexisting standards and particularly severe motor vehicle air pollution problems in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, the U.S. state of California has special dispensation from the federal government to promulgate its own automobile emissions standards. Other states may choose to follow either the national standard or the stricter California standards. The states that have adopted the California standards are: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico (2011 model year and later), New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, as well as the District of Columbia.[1][2][3] Such states are frequently referred to as "CARB states" in automotive discussions because the regulations are defined by the California Air Resources Board.

The EPA has adopted the California emissions standards as a national standard by the 2016 model year[4] and is collaborating with California regulators on stricter national emissions standards for model years 2017–2025.[5]"

Was going to say, California cars have definitely had special emmissions requirements for years. I didn't know those other states had picked up the stricter policies also and other than Pennsylvania, they are all libtard states. Surprised Illinois isn't on that list. Maybe midwestern libtards are slightly more reasonable than costal libtards.

While they’re a ****ing joke, CARB standards arent “new cars limited to max speed of 50 MPH, **** you” status.

It isnt in the same damn stratosphere.

Im all about shredding this shit state over thier endless dumb****ery, but that EU Cucklord horseshit wouldnt play here. EOS.

This is why my old junky 65 mustang is amazing.

When it's so incredibly basic that it uses a glorified toilet for a fuel system (carb), you know they can't govern it.

Wonder how the Germans with the Autobahn feel about these "speed restrictions?"

Actually, in January they proposed adding speed limits to the Autobahn to reduce emissions. The proposal was ultimately rejected but this line of thinking could easily lead CARB to impose this nonsense here.

In fact, it was studied in can couple of years ago
