Not bad buddy. Im going to break down the wheels and tires on the ole 4runner soon and blast em. After that im going to try a few different shades of plastidip before i ultimately paint them. Who knows, if i find a color in plasti i like well enough i may just leave it on! Lol

Nice! Just make sure you put it on thick. If it’s thick it peels off, if it’s lightly sprayed it takes a lot of work or chemical to get it off

I did the cowl on the wifes minivan like this too. It actually works and looks great. It’s different than spraying paint. But once you get the hang of it I think it actually holds up really well.

Plasti Dip is Awesome. I have done a couple sets of wheels and some trim pieces and the Plasti Dip holds up Great.

When I get tired of chrome wheels, I Plasti Dip them. After a couple years, when I get tired of the Black, I just peel it off. The key is to make sure you put down enough coats to build up some thickness. Then it lasts for years and peels off easier.

Plasti Dip gets a lot of hate in the car community. But if you take your time and do it correctly it looks great!

That looks pretty good, nice difference. We'll working on buddy's Raptor soon and been debating to get a new set of American racing truck wheels he likes or plastidip the current moto metal wheels. I'll let him see this truck and decide.
