Pic and modifications that it has, which is ok with me cause I would’ve eventually done similar things to it. Probably a different blower but good enough for now

Although I also found an 08 stock with 41k miles loaded for 23.5 otd that I am tempted to do just for the price difference. The more I look at the 07-09 the more it grows on me especially with strip deletes

I just don’t wanna make the wrong move for something this large of a purchase that is a just a “weekend car”

Both of our other cars wife 18 atlas and her old and now my dd 16 Passat are paid for. Kinda hard to want a car payment again even though I really have/do want a gt500

Well don’t think the white 1 is going to happen wasn’t gonna be able to meet with the guy till next week due to both our schedules and wanting to take it by a dealer to get it checked out. Now he has a guy looking at it in the morning. I’m sure it will sell.

So back to the boards.

Also after thinking it over I really would prefer to say to the mid 20s or lower if at all possible. So more then likely a 10 model if I get lucky but more then likely an 07-09 or terminator. Only problem with the termis’ are getting the bank to put up enough of a loan to not have to come out of pocket so much.

I did find a 08 with 41k at a dealer about 2 hours away that has been calling me for the past 3 days. They are down to $23k otd as of now. Just worried about what’s going to happen to the market for the rest of the year would hate to loose my a** on value with an older model

Dude that white 2011 is the car to get. If you're going to mod that 08 you'll be pretty close to the $31k of the 11. The 11 has factory widebands and all the mods done already.

Price out a set of cams + install and Kooks headers + install. LOL. You'll need clean shorts.

Get the '11.

Yes, mods can cost some $ but I would have time to do them myself and enjoy it. I would also do the work myself since I work on cars for a living...

And I’d rather buy a car without cams unless it’s really built up and didn’t plan on doing anything else to it. I’ve always been told cams should complete a build not start or be done in the middle since it could potentially limit you on other mod choices

Buy stalk 2011-2012. VMP Gen 3. Profit.

Like I said, if you are spending $30k+, wait for what you want. Because of you I want a Shelby now hahaha.

Absolutely if I was spending $30k + hands down I would get exactly what I want a 12 with track and recaros.

However my budget is the mid 20s max. That’s what it is now and what it will be later. Wife and I agreed that anything more then that is not practical for a “toy” car to buy just to buy. Due to having a car payment. Now that’s not saying I won’t have more in it for upgrades etc. but those are not committing to a car payment either.

If I could find a 11-14 5.0 for the low I would probably just get it and buy the roush stage 3 kit and suspension since I work for Roush and get my discount.

Price can’t add up to low 20s though cause then it makes more sense to me to buy a 07-09 gt500 since it will hold its value better at least

Find a 2010 and add widebands, you can find them under $30k as you did the Vert. I would go GT500 of any year over a 5.0 due to transmission unless you went auto. I will not own another MT82 car. You have to spend $1,500 off the rip to shift without lockout.

The Roush suspension will fit all S197's. 5.0 and GT500.

Found a red 10 with 51k miles coupe strip delete with nav there stuck at $28k right now otd but does come with warranty till 3 year or 100k from the dealer I told them to keep it and drop the price to $26.5k otd they didn’t take it but I’m sure if I show up next weekend at the end of the month they would probably do $27k

Is it really worth the extra 6k though just to get the body change at that point though?

Any one have an opinion on what an 08 silver w/black strips mostly stock with exhaust, new tires 42k miles would roughly be priced? Has a throw out bearing noise and missing the original floor mats lowest the seller is willing to go is 23k
