I can assure you that the Corsa Sports with LT's and an OR H pipe will NOT be quiet! I have this set up, and I have to coast out of my development in the mornings to not wake up all my neighbors.

Awesome. I hope it's as quiet while cruising as everyone says. Either way it sounds like Sports or perhaps Extreme for people without LTs is a great way to go.

Looks like the tips rest on the rear valance. Any issues with the plastic getting burnt / melted by the tips due to proximity?

I like the sound btw.

Need to post some drive bys and driving videos man.

Which are louder? The Extremes or Sports?

I noticed a set of Corsa Sports for sale and ur setup has piqued my interest. Currently have same X pipe as you but with stock mufflers.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say about a 7, they are loud as hell on cold start up and when you go WOT, but normal driving isn't bad at all.
Hey. Curious on your opinion and anyone else who has heard this setup.

How do the Corsa Sport with the off road X pipe sound compared to the stock mufflers with the X pipe?

Considerable diff in tone, deepness or how would you describe it?

I love the tips on the Corsa much better than the stock.

The Corsa sports are louder than the stock mufflers, especially with a OFR X pipe. Did you watch the video I posted with my old Shelby, it had corsa sports with the OFR X pipe. It's loud but not loud enough IMO. The extremes sound pissed off and I love that.

I made the tips sit very close to the valance, I'm really picky about the way the exhaust sits on my car lol, but no burn issues at all. I'll have my brother recored me doing a fly by when I get back home.

Extremes and sport sound very similar in tone but the extremes just sound more pissed off, but in the best way possible lol, if you don't want to crazy loud get the sports. They still sound badass.

They sound a lot better than the stock mufflers.

2011gtcs, I did watch the vids. My current exhaust is Kooks 1-7/8 Long Tube Headers with the Kooks ORH pipe and the Corsa Sports. I would say that it is louder than your Extremes with the ORX pipe. The long tubes really amp up the volume of the Sports. I actually went back to the stock mufflers for a summer, but ended up switching back to the Sports because I wanted it louder. It is PLENTY loud now!

Satch can you post any videos of your setup please

The only vids I have of mine are a couple of vids that some friends took that are on FB. I have no idea how to post them here. The car is currently in the garage covered with the battery unhooked. Sorry.

That's awesome if they are. I think corsa mufflers have a great tone to them. I may eventually do LTs on this car, but I'm not sure yet.

Where are the quad extremes shown on Corsa's website? When I look up 11-14 GT they only show the single tip and GT500 only shows the Sport.

I have the Sport with Lethal ORX and mandrel OTA pipes it's plenty loud for me.

X2 with what Satch said! I used to run the Corsa and off road X. I then put a set of Kooks longtubes with off road X pipe on the car is way louder so I went back to factory mufflers and its just about right for me. Only time I wish it was louder is when I'm out with a few buddies and their cars!

Sounds like me, put factory mufflers back into 3” aftermarket setup. Wife is happy and so am I 99% of the time, but I still want ludicrous mode on occasion.
I’m semi-local to both Stainless Works and Corsa. I’ll be working with one to install a dual mode muffler.
If not a possibility, good old cutouts!

Anyone else interested a dual mode muffler?

I’m thinking along the likes of the GT350 or even the new GT500 (four factory muffler settings!) mufflers.

wonder how the Borla Ataks compare anyone know? I also have kooks LTs and O/R H now. I run the flowmaster outlaws its loud but I like it. Wana switch to quads ( I have an 11 ) thinking either Borla Ataks, Corsa extreme or Magnaflow race.

The ATAKs are loud as hell and IMO don't even sound good with long tubes and no cats. There's a guy in town here with that setup and it's just all rasp. If you want something loud, I'd recommend the S-types with LTs/off-road setups. Honestly I think they're just about as loud as the ATAKs with that kind of setup, but have some sort of tone, not quite as raspy. Here's a clip of my car just idling....you can hear it a mile away when you get into it.

Dual mode is awesome. My V has it and it’s very cool. I’m in if it’s not too pricey.

I loved my Corsa Tourings but once in a while they got on my geriatric nerves. Went back to stock which sounded good 50 percent of the time. Am trying a new set of Ford racing mufflers but guessing it will be the same as Corsas.

And the new stupid Cali law means you can get a $1000 ticket for mufflers. Dual mode would be the answer.

Carry on sir and let us know how it proceeds.
