I've never been a Roush fan personally. The '11-14 RS3 cars were OK looking, but overall lackluster performers. It really takes a bigger VMP/Whipple and different tuning to make the cars anything decent, and well, that can be applied to any other Coyote for a lot less money.

There used to be a local '13-14 RS3 in silver that was nice, but it was also twin turbocharged. And the guy who does all my work has a black on chrome RS1 '10 GT convertible that is single turbocharged and makes 700RWHP but has the RS3 exterior. It's super nice too.

@tones_RS3 is about the only Roush I wouldn't mind having aside from a 427R. After the 2014 body they just look fugly. Price wise just doesn't make sense, like converting a Shelby to a Super Snake
Thanks brother. I appreciate the kind words.

The mark up on the Roush cars are a lot. Every Roush Stage 3 car is marked up, but automatically built into the price, so the customer doesn't know about this.
They are about $6,000-$6,500 markups on them.

That’s correct. My lightly optioned 427R was over 47 new. Compared to my GT it’s a night and day difference, but the cost is a little high in my opinion.

I love my Roush.
My stickered for almost 62k, but I got it for 46k. I traded in my '99 Hugger Orange SS for it. Worked out really well for me, got almost exactly what I wanted for my trade-in.

As do I. I got mine for 26.6K when it was 6 years old with 26k miles on it. I’ve already got a twin picked out and I’m just waiting on the owner to tell me to come get her. What I know now I’d probably shoot for a P51, better financially anyway, but I’d still be just as happy with my little 427R. And soon to be 2 427R’s.

If it had your color scheme it would be worth it.

There are new 18 RS3 going for high 50s.... which is not bad for a 700hp car with a warranty

That was a good/smart swap. I know I've said this before, but I'd take your Roush Stage 3 in a heartbeat over most other Mustangs. It's stunning visually and performance wise. One thing I'll say about Roush Mustangs. They don't over complicate the exterior. Their exterior mods are tasteful and look factory. I often think, "now this is what Ford should have done".

I agree, as well, that the Roush packages are high priced. It's a given that you're paying a premium for the name plate. Same goes for Steeda, Hennessey, Callaway, etc. I cringe when I think back how much I paid for my '94 Callaway Camaro. Oh, their package was nice, decent performance over stock, customer service/support was superior, and I was always greeted as a highly appreciated customer whenever I visited their shop in Old Lyme, CT. But with that came a premium price on everything. Overall, I threw a lot of money at the name. I'd never do it again!

I always wanted a 2010 Roush Hammer. Loved the way they looked and had awesome power.

There is a group of customers that want a turn key supercharged mustang and Roush has serviced that market for many years.

So has Ford, since roughly 2003. I have no idea what the appeal of a Roush is. They're insanely over-priced, and can't compete at all with the cars at their price point.

Auto trans is one big draw. There are 2 buyers for their cars, the guys who can write checks and don't care what the price is and the guys who wait until the dealers drop their pants to clear them out of inventory.
