Hey all

I’m doing the power tour in June with my Wife’s old man in his Chevy Stepside. I’m not scared about putting 3000 miles on the car in a week, or the fact I’ll do every strip and race circuit, as I bought my 500 to enjoy.

I’m getting it dyno tuned by JMS 3 weeks before and it’s getting a full service and brakes.

Has anyone done any similar, any advice or tips? Anything else I should do to make this car a true long hauler?

Thanks all
Alex

A buddy and I did Power Tour back in 2015, you are going to have a blast. It sounds like you have your car squared away. Here's a couple suggestions on items to bring:
* Good shoes - your going to do some walking
* Good Sun screen - for all that walking on the black top parking lots
* Good folding chair and bag cooler - we ended up parting with everyone in the hotel parking lot every night

I wish it was a little further South. I would love to cruise at least one leg of the tour and check out the cars.

The seats in my 2011 (standard seat, NON Recaro) are literally the most comfortable seats Ive ever sat in. Even more comfortable than the seats in my Excursion Limited.

They should be the same seat in the 2010! I know its always subjective, but I cant imagine a majority of owners not feeling the same way.

Agreed LT, the seats in my 10 are great.
