So if I had the opportunity to buy a 2019 GT350R or a 2018 ROUSH Jackhammer each at MSRP

So told the dealer to put in my order for a orange fury GT350r

Thanks for the info guys....

You're now a Beta male who has a life of 2nd place finishes to look forward to. LOL. JK. Seriously, CONGRATULATIONS! You will love it from the moment you see it, hit the red button, hear it in sport mode, hear its sweet song from 4k to 8k, feel it's smooth shift and tight driveline anywhere in the rpm spectrum, feel it's precision steering, etc. There's so much more but most of all I can't explain the gravity of how you'll feel with an R in the garage.

Enjoy it for what its purpose is because it's pretty damn good at it. The car is special from 4k on up. Get signed up for the Ford Performance School as soon as you get a VIN. There are still openings for this year. I'm going in April. School is free but travel to and from and meals are not. But it's a once in lifetime thing I figure so F it I'm goin big deal on it.

Think I’m going to change it to all black. Seams like it would be a easier car to customize. Whatcha guys think... dealership says it gets put in the databank Friday ....

My biggest debate is what can be done to the engine bay to dress it up and it match. Also the color of aftermarket rims since I intend taking those expensive carbon fiber rims off ASAP. Seams with the Orange fury I’m stuck with black.

Also I have had a extreme difficulty finding a orange fury, performance Blue car to see what they look like in the sun...
yeah I’ve seen the pics but seeing in person is another thing. None of the three dealerships near me have examples of either color.. grrrr so had made think to just go black since I can easily change the rims to anything and easy to do engine dress up... choices So damm difficult

Congrats OP. Always remember this as well. Some will freak out as I type this but I will type it anyway. The GT350 is a SUPERIOR PLATFORM from the start. wider, bigger brakes, hand built engine, things are beefier, and better suited overall. Its just a fact.

Now you will see the blower this crowd, and the straight line that crowd. What they fail to realize, for often the SAME price, you can F/I and GT350 and have a HELL OF A PERFORMER. Heck procharge it...Whipple it....Vortech it....TWIN TURBO it.....and the car will stand head and shoulders of most things out there. It will take the F/I injection well to, and the trans has shown it can hold up. Straight line performance solved, and you can still make the turn back to the staging lane at speed...lol

I'm a little biased toward black stripe delete. I had it paint corrected and ceramic coated. She's wet looking all the time. And yes I agree completely that black is a color you can customize that looks great with many different color combos. I have a set of brushed tinted bronze signature wheels ready to mount up. Waiting on custom lug nuts.

I don't think the lines get blurred. But I do think black gives the best mirror finish...like on mine.

Black looks amazing, but it's a full time job keeping it that way.

Can be if you obsess over it. Just paint correct and paint protect. I wash mine once a week no matter what. No more. No less. It's a personal contact with myself to avoid obsessing over every little detail every time I take it out.

Congrats OP on the R. As far as the color goes, get what you want. Having said that; Black is not a color it is a career. It may look great but wait about two minutes. All the time it takes to get dirty again. Love all blue colors but so does everybody else judging by all the blue Mustangs driving around. What you don’t see are many Orange Furies. Especially a GT350 Orange Fury.

You definitely made the right decision. GT350R hands down. Collectibility and resale value alone puts the Shelby way ahead of the Roush. In my opinion a Roush is a mustang GT with aftermarket parts. The exterior upgrades don’t even look that great.
