First, let me apologize to the moderator for not understanding the rules. Hopefully this time I get it right.

1995 SVT Cobra Convertible Hardtop: 52k original miles. #51 of 499. Black exterior and saddle leather interior. SVT certificate, window sticker and many other original documents. Excellent condition inside and out. Everything works and is well maintained with maintenance records. Always garaged and driven for pleasure and to shows. Rare show car. Some tasteful mods have been professionally installed. Have all original parts. Second owner since 2002; bought from a Ford employee. I love this very nice, rare, SVT Mustang but I need the garage space for a new hobby (I want to build a track car). The price reflects its excellent condition and collection of aftermarket parts. [email protected] $19,500 obo

Mods: Vortech SQ, 42 lb injectors, 90 mm SCT MAS, FMS 65 mm TB, 255 lph FP, custom chip, Kirban Adj. FP, Magnaflow X-pipe, Basani cat-back, aluminum FMS drive shaft, Steeda shifter, Autometer FP & Boost, 331hp & 358tq at 6 lbs.

Here are some pics. I have many more by request.

Funny you should say that, several times I've been asked "how did you get the back windows to go down"? When I explain that it's a hard top convertible they'll say "I've never seen one of these". I've also had show judges closely look at this car because many have never seen one before.

And that's exactly why I want to do it.:D

Same thing with car shows, I would always display it with hardtop on, and all windows down. ;)

Wow! Love the car man. Ive always loved these hardtop models. So the hardtop was just an option? Can a hardtop be used on any sn95 vert?

Growing up my neighbor had one. He bought it brand new. It was black 95 vert but was the ultra brown leather.

After many years I reached out to him and sent him a link to this ad. I hope he sees it as my mother has told me he is not in the best of health now.

But this car is what made me fall in love with the Cobra. He even had the plate "95cobra" which is what got me wanting my Terminator to have the 04cobra plate.

This ad really brings back the memory of that car. I was a 14 year old kid at the time but it was the first Cobra I ever had rode in, and looking back the guy who owned it was really good to me and made an impact on my life. I used to mow the grass for him.

Just a great car!

The hard top was a $1825 option that added 2 connection points to the standard Cobra convertible at the rear around where a C pillar would be. I don't think the hard top will work with the standard convertible, but I could be wrong. One thing is that there is a wiring harness that connects to the top, for the interior light, when it's installed.

04 Cobra: These are special cars, for sure. The last year, 95, for the 302 GT40 motor. For a while I had a 93 Teal Cobra, a white 94 Cobra, and this 95 hardtop convertible. I sold the others but kept the 95 because it's so unique. Most of the time I keep the hard top on the Ford supplied stand and enjoy the convertible.

That's part of my current problem, I need the space. I had the opportunity to buy a very nice 95R for a fantastic price several years ago and should have bought it, but, I didn't have the space...
