Accufab makes two different throttlebodies for the cobra motor, one of them was made specifically for the Kenne Bell 2.1 but you will have to call Accufab direct to get it.

in my opinion the only throttle body to consider is the Accufab, wouldn't waste my money on the BBK. Once you see the Accufab in person you will understand.

I have read from others here that both BBK and Accufab have had problems with these cars, with Accufab have lesser of the two. On my 96 Cobra the BBK I had, left me with an additional 3 inches or more of throttle cable slack to deal with.

The stock TB should be more than adaquate for your application. It flows just under 1100cfm and the accufab unit flows just under 1300cfm.

I'd stick to stock.
The Accufab and BBK both have issues that I would not want to bother with at all.
I'm in the process of throwing on a 67mm turbo, and the stock throttle body will still be plenty for me.

With a Kenne Bell inlet restrictions are the limiting factor for boost on the 96-98 Cobra. Going from my stock throttle body to the Accufab 1,700 cfm throttle body made specifically for the kb and also adding a JLT cold air netted me an additional 1.25 lbs of boost. I believe the upgrade is well worth it.

Did you do each one in separate steps, or you installed the TB and CAI at the same time and it netted 1.5#s?

Installed the throttlebody first which picked up a quarter pound of boost and then a few days later I installed the JLT which picked up another pound. I believe they were both equal restrictions and the throttlebody would have likely gained more but the BBk cold air I had on the car was a big restriction and didn't allow the throttle body to show it's full potential.

My understading cobra stock throttle body (2x 57mm which same as terminator) flows 1000-1100 cfm which requires something like 15-20lbs boost. So i'm suprised u gained quarter more of boost with Accufab :)

I haven't tested it but with the factory throttlebody design i would be really surprised if it flowed anywhere near that CFM. I am guessing 700 CFM is a much closer number.
I will try to take some side by side pics of the two and post them tonight.
