first problem

Went out tonight to eat and while going home i stopped at the local store . i noticed a smell. well lucky i was only a mile from the house .i got home and looked underneath the car and oil is coming out from the very front of the car .h 2500 miles on the car . ford is coming tomorrow to pick the car up .Anyone seen this on theirs .

Is it a canister or spin on filer car? My guess is spin on and it vibrated loose.

i do not know . i will let them tell me what is wrong .i checked the oil this morning .it looks to be about 1 quart low .

Early 2017s had the spin on filter. Did you get the filter wrench?

as everyone else says, my guess is the filter. first oil change from dealership is usually free. think its time for the break in change anyways

Nice catch and don't sweat it... The belly pan can relocate a drip and there are a couple known issues with easy solutions.

Well i got the car back . it was a oil pressure switch that was leaking . i asked if there was a tsb on this .the service writer said no . he said there should be .he stated alot of gt350 come in for this .

Good that the issue was found quickly and it was something relatively minor. I wonder what number represents "a lot of GT-350s come in for this". What repair did they make? Were you assured it wouldn't happen again?

That 30.00 part could kill a motor if not detected fast enough .

Here is the part number that the dealer had to replace .CM5Z-9D290-B
