interesting because he included a few obscure details such as the paint code, approximate build number, and date of purchase (which matched up). so he must have done a little research lol

Do we really believe that no one sent a deposit to lock up the sale? It was a feeding frenzy when the add first appeared at that price.

What's the old saying?

"If looks too good to be true, buy it fast before someone else does."

Ya the other guy wouldn’t help me update my email. I think it was an old yahoo or v6f150 email with my name as the to portion.

If you could update my old username to my current email so I can update my password. Then we can merge thise account with it or just delete it. I’ve ran forums before I use to own v6f150.com back in 03/04 but got out of the auto scene in 07. I’m back now buying my uncles 03 cobra so been wanting to post here again
I’ll get you in a while Jon.
Cutting in the garage ceiling, so I can paint it tomorrow.

Agreed. With that price someone will pick it up and not appreciate it for what it is. It needs to be priced appropriately so a collector can get it and preserve it such as the original owner did. I have the cash right now to wire for it but I've already committed to my uncles original owner cobra 11k mile and he's selling it to me at a massive family discount that I just cannot refuse.

Then why the hell are you telling him to sell it for more?

Gtfo with that crap.

GLWS op!

This is what is scary about it. With the amount of people being ripped off lately on here and other places with knowledge of rare parts/cars etc.

Kudos to @slow90coupe and the Moderator for being good detectives and so quickly about it. I saw this ad pop up on FRI and it became on my radar. (as it appears it did for all of you who love these cars too).

Now that I had a min to do so I decided to check in on it again, and I see the SVT brotherhood looked out for one another as usual. Keep looking out and calling out the oddities as we all see them. A good decent seller will understand if the tough questions are asked.

Good Job guys!

Sad what people will do to make a buck... taking advantage of peoples emotional reactions to these cars... Lord know I've made emotional purchases on this site, luckily all my interactions with both buyers and sellers has been nothing but amazing on SVTP. Keep up the great work guys and way to bust this A$$hole!
