I can't find it on search what I'm looking for. My 2012 Mustang got some big gain from the sct and intake and wondering about the 2017 Mustang? Probably install a LT and catted mid pipe and get the tune from these vendors like lethal or American muscle. Thanks guys.

SCT is a perfectly fine device, but the tune itself is only as good as the vendor you get it from. I'd recommend Palm Beach Dyno, Lund, AED, Sai Li, just stay away from Bama.

I’m tracking where I will get it from. Probably Lund and AED. I haven’t heard the other 2. The tuner is a decent gain for 2017 compare to 11-14 gt?

Also want to add power adders but the car fish tails already and it’s stock. I bought the car and ensured I had the 3.55 gear ratio and it’s an auto because I heard good things about the auto since 2011. My 2012 was standard but it was getting hard to change gears even after changing the trans fluids.

2017 will see basically the same gains as an 11-14. However if you're going with an auto car vs. your old manual car, you will see that tuners have great ways of manipulating the trans tuning.

Can't believe you've never heard of Palm Beach Dyno or Sai Li...

I haven’t really searched hard enough since my slow 02 Mustang GT. Plus I haven’t tried the tunes they write anyways. I keep seeing or reading great things about Lund or AED though so if I install lth and mid pipe, I’m going to need them. Plus I’ll be saving $850 install and dyno tune.

If you've been into the scene since the 2V 4.6 days then you may remember the name Ken Bjonnes who ran Modular Depot back in the day. Palm Beach Dyno is his current baby.

I remember Modular Depot but I was mainly dealing with AmericanMuscle, latemodelreto, and lethal performance, and a couple more.

Also, this are just labor only. LTH and mid pipe is $500. Nitrous, window switch, bottle opener and heater for $850? What’s the approximate numbers for lth 1 3/4”, catted h pipe, and tune from the guys above? I’m asking because this extra hp I’ll be driving daily.

Obviously exact power numbers will very wildly among different cars, but I seem to recall the normal-ish range for a Gen2 5.0L w/ headers and tune should fall somewhere in the 420-435 rwhp range?

Those numbers sounds about what I’m expecting. Maybe I need to create another thread asking what would they do differently to auto gt. First time having an auto gt.
