I'm not very good at finding threads on here. Anyways, I'm looking for some advice on what fuel system upgrades I should be doing to run 600RWHP on E85. Injector size? Pump Size? Do I have to go return style? What are the most popular brands to use for these components? Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

Most of us run Fore. Couple vendors on here if you’re interested and they can get you set up.

What blower and why is 600 your goal. Pretty easy to get up closer to 700 on E

Fore innovations for top grade shit

Lethal for a more economical, but still quality setup

Why only 600? You can make that on pump 93 with a BAP

What blower?

for injector size chart... Pre Tune Information / EFIDynoTuning

you will need at least 80lb injectors (chris @ PAS is the only verified vendor), you will have to upgrade the factory lines and for 600rwhp on e85 you will have to replace the hat. At that point you might as well go return and crank up the base fuel pressure to 55psi so you can run 700+ rwhp on e85 with the 80s.

For the fuel system there are a few things to consider...
1. How confident are you at cutting and doing your own lines?
Honestly it isn't that hard, if you map it out and plan accordingly you should only have to measure 456 times and cut twice. So just buy more ft. then you honestly need lol Or if thats not your style, buy a kit.
2. You're going to want PTFE or simply put Teflon coated. This is just going to save your fuel lines and also prevent any odors from venting through your lines. Plus ... I mean.... come on... braided stainless steel PTFE lines are pretty sexy.
3. I am running a return style system. I had some DivisionX fuel rails that worked perfectly for my 3.4L whipple, but they would not fit my 2.3 VMP. I had to purchase a new set from FORE. The newer ones are pretty slick and low profile.
4. That injector size reference chart that @decipha just posted is a great resource. You can make loads of power easier on E85 then you can with pump, so im already jealous lol but on that note im at 600 to the wheels on pump gas, and if my car had say 9.0:1 compression, those numbers would be closer to 700 (or so I am told) so you should be able to handle it pretty easy.

as for the rest? I have no clue. There is literally 2 pumps with E85 in my entire damn state. So its pretty much unicorn blood to me. Good luck !

I'm not sure what system the lethal uses but the 850hp kit from lethal is what is in my car. Not sure if it's E85 compatible though

Isn't Lethal's DivisonX just Fore Precision Works Rebranded and Fore Precision Works is Fore Innovations before the split?

This definitely falls under the "to each his own" category because I think braided stainless is ugly. That stuff belongs on a 1970 Camaro, not a modern muscle car. Black lines and fittings or nothing!!

I am with you on this. I am running Stainless PTFE but under the car where you can't see it and also was not too happy with the bend radius of the Stainless steel vs the black lines.

The way I understand it is Lethal took over and copied/built Fore's product when they were shut down. The thing is that Fore has continued to evolve their products, they're changing all the time getting better. To me the fact that Fore doesn't use rubber hoses inside the tank to hook up the pumps puts them in a league of their own. Wiring harness blows Division X away. The Division X stuff would be great stuff if Fore wasn't around, Fore is just so darn good it makes everything else look subpar.

DO NOT use normal black braided fuel lines with ethanol or alcohol fuels. They will eventually breakdown and fill your filter with black crap as the insides start to fail. They also weep and will stink up your garage.

You can however use PTFE that has a layer of braided black hose over it, but it's typically another $1-2 more per foot. I know some people who use this exclusively in the engine bay and run "normal" stainless ptfe under the car.

Most people switch to return because it's much easier to tune, allows more future growth and opens up options for pumps.

Fore is what most of us carry, I have however done several sumped tanks with externals as well but if you have an 03 tank it's hard to not go Fore because of the quality and ease.

Did you mean return? I feel like I have read how much more room for growth is provided with a return system.

Well right now I have a stock blower with a 2.93" and full exhaust that made 488RWHP.

But I had an early morning incident a couple months back where the radiator sprung a leak and I didn't realize it and it severely overheated so the motor is hurt and it might be the piston rings. I think it will at least need a head gasket because under load the cooling system gets pressurized and coolant sprays out of the reservoir cap. Car is at Revolution Auto rn for diagnosis.

So my plans are to go to a set of after market cams (I'm dying for the sound) and a stock ported blower with a 2.76" pulley. I figure it could be around 550whp on E85 at that point, so a fuel system is needed. 600HP fuel system to be safe?

If it needs a short block, I'll be bumping the compression up a slight bit. Still not sure how much of a bump over 8.5:1 is reasonable but if I'[m doing a short block, I figure I might as well.

Yeah I know it'd be cheapest and fastest to spend the same money on a replacement longblock and throw a VMP/Whipple on it, but I'm really into doing something to the motor lol

Ok thanks! I'll check out what lethal has going on! Sticking with a ported blower for now... probably doing cams and possibly a bump in compression on this rebuild.

Thanks to everyone for their input! Looks like I'll be talking to Lethal soon about a return style E85 setup!
