Is the SPEC a twin disc? If so that noise is normal with all twin disk except Mantic clutches, which are $2000.

Yes it is a twin disc....
Is it really normal, and does everyone with twin disk clutches have this sound, like to hear from you. I cant be the only one that thanks its extremely annoying?

My 2008 OEM clutch hissed when the clutch pedal was depressed. My Spec SS twin disc does chatter a little when the clutch is depressed... wouldn't describe it as a scraping sound though. I am not annoyed by it but I rarely idle in gear, instead choosing to idle in neutral and release the clutch. Also, I had around 20k miles on the stock clutch before it was replaced with the Spec, and from a driveabilty standpoint, my Spec feels no different than the stocker (other than it holds all the power I throw at it). Mine fully engages and fully releases smoothly, never grabby under normal conditions, and I routinely maneuver in and out of my garage and up and down my Race Ramps without any drama. If it ever wears out, I'll likely have it rebuilt instead of gambling on whether or not I would like the characteristics of another clutch brand.

Had an RXT and now an RXT 1200. No rattling or any odd noises.

Broken clip on the clutch fork maybe? Post a vid of you haven’t.
