I have wondered about that as I have a Black on Black 13 GT500, and as everybody knows, a black car is clean for 3 minutes and after that, it shows everything. But I worry about the life of the wrap and what the paint would look like after removing the wrap.

I didn’t do my whole car but just the hood to get some contrast. However I went with the spray on / peel off wrap done by a local company. I went this route after I saw a couple of cars they did. I think it finishes better then the regular wrap and is more cost effective, especially if you get sick of it and want to change to something else. It also peals off easily. However I am not sure you can get the same mirror finish if you are going the chrome finish route.

I’m likely looking at going grabber blue with matte black stripes (same stripes i have now). I really like the color. I still find the boss 302 to be a great looking car

A local guy here did his and I think it looks great. They were able to do the stripes, no worries on that. Should last years, and the paint should look good as new when removed.
