Surrounded by libetards.
Stang had the hole shot too...drove around him on the big end for $200k. Great race. Must have sucked ass watching that car come around him toward the end.

Lights out is such a badass event. I was so disappointed I couldn't make it this year. Will be there next year for sure.

I've heard it's a fun race. One of the guys I know locally works for dragzine and covers that event. He gets to shoot pics and watch some of the best racing out there AND get paid to do it!

If you're into drag racing this is one of if not the best event in the country atm. Everything there is a 4.0 or faster car and there are some awesome grudge races, a lot of wheelstands etc.

Sorry I haven’t been around in awhile to know this but
1. Is there a 3rd race set up coming?
2. What are this fins off the front bumper? Does that have anything to do with tripping staging lights?

I’m dumb I knoe

The fin on the front bumper is called a beam splitter and can be used when the front of the car doesn’t extend as far forward from the front tire as rules allow. Your front tire is what trips the beams when you stage, but it’s the front of your car that trips the beams at the finish line.

I'll assume the vette won based on the celebration at the tree. Need that finish line angle. Damn whatever happen to $1K races?

Yes, the Vette won....look at the win light. Yes, a finish line shot would have been awesome, looked close.

It was great racing. When i left Friday night they had just finished qualifying for the 275 class. There was 32 cars in the field and the top 16 cars had 1 tenth between them. The bottom 16 had a tenth as well. So 32 car field and 2 tenths split the whole class. That is about as close as it gets.
