Well after a bit of hiatus and working in Australia for almost 2 years I'm back home and finally (since 2015) back into a Mustang... Again... I want to say this is my 6th or 7th now the last one being a 2015 black/black performance. Before that some might remember my 2014 or maybe the 2011 or way back to my or Terminator. I certainly see some of you guys from way back in the day still floating around here (and still up to their antics).

I had been on the hunt for a new ride for a few weeks. As much as i love my Expedition I was really craving having a V8 again. So I went out, as we all do, and test drove a bunch of cars. I set the price range at >$100k.

Test drove the Trackhawk - Stupid power in an SUV for sure and fun but it just didn't feel like a $100k vehicle.
Hellcat - Again crazy power but it's big and the interior is just "meh" not to mention the wide body is about $77k plus, again didn't feel worth it for over $80k OTD.
Z06 - This was what i thought I was for sure going to get, then I drove it. It's fast no doubt but the rest of it kinda was a bummer. No storage, only 2 seats, horrid infotainment system, super hard to get in and out of, did i mention no storage? The clutch was really heavy as is the shifter. As a daily, eh wasn't feeling it.
Mercedes GLC 63 AMG S - This almost got the nod, still not sure why I didn't get it, except it was over $100k when all done up so that was pushing it. But wow it's really nice.

I popped into the Ford dealer since I really love the GT and it's something i'm super familiar with. I was looking for a nice Premium with the digital dash but almost nobody in the area carries any, I found one, it was white and was kinda not feeling white. I stopped by Parks Ford and the Manager who knows me well spotted me and said "Bullitt" and handed me the key. After a quick test drive the smiles were long and wide. It just made me happy. Loved the looks, the specialty of it and it was loaded with all the goodies, Magna ride, Digital Dash, Brembos, Tech Pack and compared to everything else i was looking at was $30k cheaper and damn did it sound good. After a bit of negotiating and actually leaving the dealer (they called me the next day) I ended with the deal I wanted and picked it up on Sunday! They started with a $5k market adjustment, then came down to MSRP then came down again to $2k under MSRP. That sealed the deal.

Now to make room in the garage between the Slingshot and 6 other bikes I'm freak'n out of space!

I know pics or it didn't happen:

Finally got the garage done as well, since I'm kind of a die hard Ford fan we did the Ford theme and colors:

Now to find a reputable Whipple installer and shoot for 800hp. Between the car and blower I'm still $20k cheaper than everything else! Once that is done maybe do some Hellcat hunting. Here Kitty Kitty...

Good for you not paying their mark up. I know a lot of guys do that have to have it now and their pockets are deep. Personally I would never pay over msrp for anything but that’s just me. Congrats on you new bullitt

Thanks! The value for money and performance capability just beats everything else you can buy (thats new with a warranty).

Nice. It’s about the only S550 that I’d be willing to buy new. Now tell me did you get a real Bullitt or black? I can’t see the photos because I don’t have the photo app.

The new Ranger looks super sharp really digging that. In Australia they are all over the place, some seriously nice ones too. I also heard outside the US they are going to do a Ranger Raptor!

Yes I got the Highland Green, the black would simply be... Uncivilized

Congrats sir! Those are badass rides for sure.

And seriously, great job at not falling for the ADM crap.

I was at the Ford store this morning and they have a Bullit on the floor, sticker sez 55k
I walked around it but none of the sales people approached me. I wanted to ask them if they would come off the 55 just to get something going. No evidence of a mark up on the car.

Nice car, nice write up.

That being said, I'd like to see a driving review on the car from you.

Wish my ford dealer would have some halfway decent cars. It’s basically a maintenance and parts dealership. But it’s good to know a little over an hour away there’s a Bullitt I can go look at.

Congrats on the new Bullitt, and I do hope you enjoy it. Glad to see that you were able to find one available for under MSRP. The dealership I work for is selling them for a tad above invoice, and just took in a "used" one with 800 miles and it's going for high 40s. I expect the prices on these to come down, a lot.
