It’s breathtaking to be 150’ - 200’ above ground when inspecting antennas on the masts of Navy ships, but 2000’ is way up there. I wouldn’t have a problem doing it, but damn that is high.

I kept trying to line up a spot check for ANYTHING on the mast of an Aircraft Carrier but it never worked out before I retired. I would do that any day of the week no problems, ask me to clean up someone elses vomit or bodily fluid thats not family and Im out. Main reason why I will never be in health care.

I have done towers, tallest we have up north in Montana is about 900 ft. I had a little 100ft tower fall to the ground an hour after I was on it. Gave my notice that evening. Went back to using my brain instead of my back. Wasn’t worth it for $15 an hour
