Qa1 front coilovers conversion

Just picked up a pair of qa1 coil over conversion kit from JEGS total $600.52 after shipping,handling and tax. I’ll try to get more pictures and if anyone get some tips before install always open for help.

make sure you have caster camber plates, ones with a spherical bearing in the center, not urethane center bearing.

And that they're the 4 bolt design. The 3 bolt won't support the weight.

I used antisieze on the threaded body to keep things from sticking. You might want to use some between the collars as well.

Good thing you told me I was about to pick up some at caster camber plates but I might just pick up some team z instead since they 4 bolts I’m guessing Ima have to drill the 4th hole?

Correct. I've been running Maximum Motorsports on multiple cars for years with no issues.
