Needed for a kb 2.1

Thinking more and more of doing this. Do i absolutely need the bap?

Im tracking i will need at least 42 pound injectors. Gonna buy 44 pounders. 90 mafs and new plugs.

Not planning on doing the meth kit. I want to keep everything at $5200 or less.

I can sell my intake to recoup some money.

What else should i look into?

It depends on boost level. If u run default boost (5-6psi) you don't need any of those (bap, maf, injectors). I recently bought new fuel pump that I can ditch fmu aswell.

ps. No my kit is not for sale

$5200 budget? C head swap and Eaton swap. C heads are next to nothing if you go with 99/01 ones and an Eaton swap is like $2500. Figure another $1000-$1500 for fuel and tune.

So youre saying i can literally just buy the kit, get it dynotuned and be good to go if i just keep it at normal boost?

Yes, kit includes KB own chip so you won't need get it dynotuned, altought it can be recommend because KB tune does not work well with everybody, but atleast mycase it worked fine. And yes, if you keep kit as stock, you are good. Beyond that basically you need start to replacing ...well everything (forged bottom, maf, injectors, pump, port heads, remove imrc, add water/meth..etc). Most of these mods you need todo if going C-heads aswell.

Complete kits for sale all the time on FB groups, seen them here in the market... usually $2500 gets you everything. Plus the cost of C heads and your labor.
