What car is this on? Year? I don't know what's with Lido's tunes but this is the second time in the last week I'm seeing someone post a graph here after getting tuned by him and the afr just looks scary. Not smooth and super lean.

Would it matter if my drag radials were aired to only 23 psi ?

Would what matter? That the afr is lean? No. That you had slightly low psi in the tires. If you aired them to 35psi it might post a few extra hp. Going from a 3.47 to 3.33 is nothing. That's only 1 step down. You added a bigger intercooler so need to force more air through it. As an example I have a V1 S on my Mach 1. Previously it was on my GT. Non intercooled with a 3.6 pulley and powerpipe it made 9psi. I added a Procharger intercooler and dropped to a 3.33. It made the same 9psi. Only gained an extra 5rwhp on the dyno. I then dropped to a 3.125 pulley and it made 12psi. Each blower is going to have its sweet spot. You might just have to go down to a 3.25 or 3.125. On my GT at 6300rpm the setup made 12.15psi. On my Mach at 6400rpm it makes 11.66psi and 12.4psi at 6600rpm. This is on a stock motor auto Mach with low timing.

What I'm taking from this is maybe I should go to a different tuner and get a second opinion

Don't start changing parts. Get the car checked out. Make sure you're getting correct fuel pressure under boost. Once the car has passed inspected. Then you know its the tune and not the car. Get a quality a/f gauge on the car. Also a lot of tuners use "sniffers" for dyno tuning which I've found to be inaccurate. If that was used, I'd be skeptical of the tune.
One Example: Put my car on a dyno, to make sure everything was solid after refresh. The tech shut the car down at 5k rpm because the a/f pegged at 13.8.. re-checked and it did it at 13.4.
Long story short. Ripped the car apart looking for mechanical issue.
There was none.. Was a junk sniffer.
Quality A/f gauge / fuel pressure in-car and datalog the car..

What does your afr gauge show? A tail pipe sniffer reads a few points leaner than taking a reading closer to the engine. My afr gauge reads about .4 richer than the shops tail pipe sniffer. So tuned to 11.8 I'm seeing 11.4-11.5 on the street.

Street tune run 11.4 and track tune run 12.0-.4

Question is at 12a/f, what fuel is on. Mix? Meth injection?.
Seems to me the car is an average joe. So guessing a 93 tune. Which 12s is hot. Mid 11s is ideal.

Check the car over. Make sure mechanically it ok. Try a different tuner. Or buy to soferwate and do it yourself. Plenty of good info out there, plus people here woupd be wolling to help.

did just read through all my emails again tuner said that he leaned it out. Because he realized it wasn't alot of boost and that he Could get away with it and he said lean is more power. Just concered that that much leaner than last year only equated to 16 hp

I'd agree. After looking at the dyno graph. Its about par. 8 psi. Lowish 12s.

I wouldnt do back to back pulls with that. If you drive it respectable i'd leave it. If your going to beat the crap out of it, I would have him bring it down to 11.5-11.8s just to be safe. 11s would also might help if you ran into bad gas.

Also have aluminium helping out with the heat dissipation.

Peak: lowish 12 at 5ps+-..
10psi at 11.8ish

So to be on the safer side of things, if it were me, I would bring it down to 11.8s. / clean the tune up a bit. And stop worrying about it.

Try another tuner.

Seen this thread get bumped up again. Now, I just realized OP wanted to see around 20-30hp increase but he only seen 16hp increase.

Looking at the graph max power went up by nearly 37hp and 16lbft of torque.

I only picked up on the terrible A/F reading in the graph.
