Is that wound for real?!?! Holy crap! She owes you big bro.

Spring of ‘17

We had just bought a house that fall and the bathroom closet was mostly finished, but the shelves were way too small.

“Hold this, and don’t let go because it’s not screwed down.”

Bent down to get drill....wham...

Bright flash of white.. started crawling to the bedroom floor because carpet is softer than tile and I just wanted to put my head down..and she’s saying, “no no you’re bleeding everywhere”

Good times. CT scan and 6 staples later I was on my way.

Here’s a fun picture before bed. My wife dropped a shelf she was supposed to be holding onto while I bent over to get the drill to mount it to the supports.

OUCH! Sorry to see that, man. Glad you have a decent head of hair. 2 weeks and good as new. A couple more weeks and you can laugh about it.

How's your wife? Had to be pretty traumatic for her as well. Hope she isn't overcome with guilt and beating herself up too much. She might need a bit of extra attention from you to reassure her.

For what it's worth, I haven't had a whole lot of luck asking my wife to hold still while I tried to mount either. Never taken an injury like yours but it definitely hasn't always ended well.

Good luck with your recovery.

I have a request.

I have completely flooded my text message conversations with the following images:

0F081EDD-6791-4240-85DB-C3B21D86D8F4.jpeg

And
79FF97FA-DA30-4CC3-BC68-E580444BBDF6.jpeg

I need moar squinting/judgemental/doubtful animals.

They bring me joy, and I even have 4-5 coworkers, in addition to my wife, brother, and brother-in-law sending them back and forth.

Please help.
