Lowest production S550, stripper GT350R if the new GT500 doesn’t meet your criteria. I’d one from every generation.

I’ve got my sights set on a fully-loaded red with black stripes 2020 GT500... it is frigg’n SEXY! Standing by for more info and a price.

I think I saw a speck of dust Tim.

Funny Brad!

I normally keep my garage (and cars) spotless, but after slinging correction compound and subsequent dust around for a few weeks, it needs a thorough cleaning! You may have seen “1 or 2 dust(s).”

Just to be clear, because I’ve already been PMd asking... I’ll be selling my 4600 mile vert, which is in my sig pic. It is all original down to the tires and has never been modded. It’s in incredible condition top to bottom, inside and out. I’ll be placing an ad soon for $37.5k.

Congratulations, Tim. The new one looks awesome. Great job bringing it to pristine condition. Interesting about the (lack of) color changing leather material available. Because of the uniqueness of the Mystichrome model, one would go to great lengths to avoid switching to a non-color changing seat covering. Uniqueness often comes at a price. You and your car collection go together to apple pie and ice cream, my friend. Enjoy!

Thank you very kindly Bob. The lack of Mystichrome leather will definitely be a problem for these cars long term. You can always respray the paint to make it look factory fresh, but the leather is a rare bird. There was one original batch made by a company called: “Garden State Tanning.” They used the pigments of the color changing paint mixed with softeners/conditioners. The end results are magical. It’s the only car to ever have color-changing leather. Unfortunately, it cannot be reproduced. There was an attempt, but it looked quite a bit different... not like the original batch. TMI Interiors bought the remaining original leather and made factory correct replacement seat skins. There was a thread here a few years back that said TMI was running out and only had enough of the leather for a couple more sets. I bought a set and have it store for safe keeping. I also bought a backup recovered steering wheel with the original leather. These are items that simply will not be available down the road. I probably will never need them, but I have them just in case.

Even 15 years later, I am enamored with Mystichrome!

After my many-day car project, my garage was a bit of a mess. All of the correction compound was all over and there was dust from removing it everywhere. This morning, I dusted all of the cars and cleaned the floor... all back to normal. The blue tubing on the right is for my air compressor project I have yet to complete.

Very nice....but I thought for sure when I saw this thread this was going to be the low mile mystichrome COUPE addition! Lol. Even MORE mystichrome paint to rub on and cherish.

I much prefer Terminator verts. As these cars age and get replaced with much better and more modern performance Mustangs, they will be more of a collectible boulevard cruiser and less of a “mod and drive it into the ground” race car. Just like the classics from the 60s and early 70s, verts are desired and command a premium. We will see the same thing happen with our beloved Terminators. As a collector, I wanted the best Terminator vert I could get, which happens to be the most expensive one sold... the 04 Mystichrome vert.

Having said all of that, I absolutely love the heavily modded Terminators on this site! I live vicariously through the pictures and videos. I just keep resisting the mod bug and will keep this one a virgin too.

I see. Well, I wasn't advocating modding any thing, I would keep them 100% bonestock, too. I just think it would look awesome to open that garage door and see a mystichrome coupe sitting next to a mystichrome vert. I think from a collectibility standpoint....that would be a highly desirable sight to see in the terminator world.

two things are abundantly clear:
1) You do very well for yourself.
2) The white letters on the Shelby tires must be removed

well, three things actually:
3) I'm submerged in envy
