I finally got some seat time with the new engine and I have the tune pretty well wrapped up. I pulled data from old data logs and compared to new. I have the cams at 109/115 Int/Exh. Before they were stock (stock 97 Cobra cams). Check out not only the difference in airflow but where peak occurs. My old setup consistently peaked between 6800 and 7k rpm. Now I'm peaking around 6k and the plateau around it is significant. Much improved!

I don't think the factory cam timing is advantageous unless you're for some reason consistently running near 7k.

Sorry, this is the only way I know how to post a picture....

Airflow comes from the MAF. For the case of both the before and after I had a wideband on the car that was verifying the AFR coming out matched the AFR demanded. The injectors, fuel pressure, and wideband were all the same for before/after comparison. If AFR is correct, and all else is unchanged, making this comparison using MAF data is legit. I normalized both curves using SAE's standard correction for air temperature.
