Nothing. Because buying a product you like doesn't mean you're endorsing their political stance.

I don't get a flying flip about that. I like my iPhone. I like my F150. I like my Vans. Etc

If someone walked up to me while I was wearing a pair of Nikes and said "Don't you know they XYZ", I would politely tell them I didn't know that, I don't care, and that the Jacket fits the same regardless. Then go back to doing my thing.

never been in a starbucks ever, I use a Norelco electric razor, and I don't wear Nike. None have to do with politics but it's another reason not to use them..

Nike sales exploded to upside after the Kap ad. Hobby Lobby made a huge fuss about not offering contraceptives as part of its health plan and advertises that it is closed on Sunday for sake of its employee's family time. Both are examples of gratuitous virtue signaling.

The point of alienating the other guy is that most people cannot articulate what they stand for but they know what they do not stand for. Pissing off the guy that your customer does not agree with drives the potential customer into your corner as he now identifies with your brand. It is marketing 101.
If a business wants to be closed on Sunday it's their right and I have NO problem with it. If a business doesn't want to include contraceptives in their health plan I have NO problem with it.

Should probably ditch that Sagan quote too then.

What ever happened to just being concerned on the quality of one's product or service and leaving your politics in the voting booth?

Wanna be closed on Sunday? That's up to you. I know businesses closed on Monday but no one says a word!
Believe guns are evil? That's up to you. But why alienate more than half your potential clientele?
Believe in the soveriegnty of the USA? Friggin get off your lazt butt and vote but quit believing your posts on social media are making a difference.
Believe in open borders? Go down to the border and bring one of those illegal families home with you, I'll pay for your fuel.
Believe we should embrace a Marxist political regime? Make sure we never meet, you will be sorry and I will go to prison!

Haven't stepped foot in a Dick's Sporting Goods since their CEO went anti-2A, Nike can suck it, and I've bought my last Gillette product. I may have bought my last pair of Levi's too.

It's not about being a snowflake, and it's not about companies having an opinion...even though as an entity and not a person or panel, how does a company have an opinion? Anyway, what it's about is, in a competitive marketplace where I can find alternative products at like quality and prices, I refuse to give my money to the ones that turn around and use it to actively lobby against my interests. Dick's used my money to hire anti-2a lobbyists. Levi's used my money to fund Bloomberg's crusade. Gilette used my money to further cowtow to a mindset that wants me extinct. And Nike used my money to further promote the actively anti-white, actively anti-police BLM movement.

Agree 100%. It would be nice to not bring politics into our everyday household products but we can no longer ignore it. Some of these companies promote and fund the radical left and if you don't hurt them where it matters....the wallet...then they will continue to act the way they do. Case in point the NFL. Their ratings are finally rebounding now that they are airing the national anthem without kneelers. Duh!

I still dont understand why they would put a Chick-Fil-A inside the Falcons stadium when it will be closed for half the games. That is just lunacy to me.

Once these companies start coming up with left leaning ideas/opinions/acts suddenly their products are shitty and people start hating them, lol.

I didn’t say the products were shitty, but once the company that produces them starts pushing its views on the consumer, particularly when its polar opposite of your beliefs, I’m out. It’s pretty similar to having a famous actor start using his fame to push his political views. We don’t care, just shut up and make action movies.
