Keep in mind the marauder is a lot heavier than a mustang, so what the trans or rear end can handle in a fox isn't true in a 4000+lbs car. I've seen people with a 5spd manual behind a mostly stock 2v in a crown vic / grand marq blow the 8.8 to pieces doing dumb shit.

Engine is good for about 450 wheel, some people go past that with meth but I would never. I'm at 440 with the manual on a very safe tune and only 8psi boost.

I would absolutely suggest a trans cooler and a j mod for the trans (maybe not pulling out the spring) to help prolong the life.

Yes, I'm 100% sure. I speak from experience. I blew my stock trans soon after installing my Trilogy SC (13.5psi) and I was no where near 700TQ. I now make about 640HP on a built 4R70E transmission with hardened everything. I'll see how long this one lasts.
The 4r70w was built to handle 700 lbs ft tq.

In 04, they upped it to 750 by putting in the 4r75w.

Actually the 700 is divided by 2 which makes it handle 350lbft not 700
Do some research and apologize later.

The motor is good to 450 rwhp with a manual. Automatic will be a little less since it robs some power, call it 425 rwhp. When I did my eaton swap I kept it around 400 rwhp with a stock upper and 2 LB lower.

The trans is more stout than the motor but I'm not sure by how much since the motor has always been the weak link for me.

Was this an easy swap?
