Would like some opinions on the vid. It was giving me some issues shifting a couple weeks ago. I replaced the cable and things seemed ok. Today i was racing someone and the car developed the noise in the vid.
Probably get in there with a loooong extension. Like, from in front of the k member.
You can get the mechanical speedo plug lots of places, I got mine off ebay, it was billet aluminum and pretty cheap $25 or less.Where did you purchase the plug for the speedo hookup? Appreciate your feedback CJ, trying to get all the info i can. Wanted to make sure all the electrical is plug and play. Driveshaft length should be cut an 1"-1 1/4"?
So it’s just basically a block off plug? I seen those on eBay. I have a trans jack but no lift. Everything else is just plug and play for everything else? I read about something with the reverse lockout, does that apply to our cars? Sorry for all the questions, trying to be prepared the best I can.

The magnum stock is stronger than most built t56s.
Unless I'm nuts I removed/installed my shifter in car. Remeber a little fanagling. Think I had to lower the trans quite a bit with cross member off. Then tightening the bolts was interesting. You can get the mechanical speedo plug lots of places, I got mine off ebay, it was billet aluminum and pretty cheap $25 or less.
Those numbers on the driveshaft sound close but I measured the length after the transmission was installed then I had my local driveshaft shop shorten a spare stock shaft I had.
The hardest part of the Magnum install is actually installing the transmission. The Magnum has to be installed with the shifter on the transmission so it takes some work to get it in. I have a lift and a transmission jack, and it was still kind of a PITA. I'd hate to be doing it on the garage floor by hand or with just a floor jack.
