..Sold my racecar, staying busy with other things in life. Been missing the friends I made through racing and the Cobra community.

I understand. You were among a very few people that I knew that had a natural talent for racing hard. You won how many NASA races? You own #23?

It's always good when everyone checks in.

Thanks for the compliment!! I have no idea how many races I won, never counted.

I do own 95R #23, thus the basis of my number when I raced. I actually started racing in my 95R and switched to the orange 94 cobra about half way through the season before something potentially happened to the R, luckily nothing ever did. After buying the race car, the R was demoted to my open track car.

Funny story: last race of the 2006 season at road America, I went out For qualifying, turned a good lap (turned out to be the pole winning time) but thought I could do better. On that “better” attempt the limited slip broke stripping the splines on one of the axels. For some silly reason I had one of my sponsors bring my 95R along to the race as a backup, which I never did before or since. I switched to my 95R and raced that the whole weekend which won me the championship. This 95R holds a special place in my heart.
