2018 GT with Roush TVS package vs 14 GT500; speculation only

Yep leave like from a red light with a few clicks of aggressive before you fully got WOT after a clean 1-2 shift.
Keep him close in first and the Trinity will pull by.

Roush couldn't tune a piano. They have so many nanny strategies at work protecting this and that and the other they can't get out of their own way. The 727 package (phase two) on all 15-17 cars produce a number on the dyno but can't get the power to the ground. The 2650 package is likely no different -- wit ha Roush tune. Trust me. I've already been down that road with Roush. The 18 with the 10R80 may generate better use of their tune but it won't run anything like you think it's going to run IMHO. Your setup is heads and heals ahead of the18GT. I'm on my third 2300TVS setup. I learned with my 13 manual that Roush sucks. Retuned with VMP and the car picked up 70RWHP and .8 on the ET. Traded for a 14 auto, swapped the package over and tuned again with VMP and gave a few stock GT500's a run for their money. Currently on a 17 auto setup (came with the Roush at a price to good to pass up or would have gone with a Whipple 2.9) and have not made a pass yet. Still fine tuning the trans side of things and winter has everything at a standstill. So I have some idea what the packages will do. You have no issues as long as you can leave. Doesn't matter what he has on the rear hubs.

I got a look under the hood today. Stock tires out back; 275s. I'm not completely accepting of the S550 body style yet, but this is a nice car. I would have left the stripe off, but otherwise I like it.
