Yes for about 4 months that way intill i did swap, i found to get hydrualic master to work correctly had to move it up it the fire wall so it pulled cable straighter on quadrant i think coil cover would have fit back on

IMO if you have to leave engine parts off I wouldn't count it as fitting. Especially parts that are there to keep good contact for the ignition parts. Too bad you didn't get a chance to see if it would fit after moving the master cylinder up.

By the way the 2005 gt bell fits to convert a 2001 cobra to hydraulic however the input shaft is an inch longer.

I made a sleeve to go over callor and machined 1/4 inch off the front, had trans apart and had plenty of casting to machine it off

Multiple ppl on this very forum. It's an auto with an aftermarket controller. Bolt pattern is the same. It's not complicated.

Not finding it for 1996-2004 mustangs.
Plenty for 2011+

There is a manual for $159, but no real comprehensive threads other than the one SVTP terminator thread that I noted.

I doubt anyone will find a Termi section on SVTP. You will find a Cobra and a Terminator section, but Termi doesn't exist.

Simply using that abbreviated term is likely grounds to be banned, beaten, and thrown from earth.

Well when I search "Termi" on google I can get to a 03/04 Cobra whatever pretty fast.

Now search "tranny" which a ton of ppl use as an abbreviation on here...

Some of the 03/04 owners take offense to the word "Termi". Others just don't care.

yes i know about that link..i posted that one and linked it.
you said there were many others that had already done the 6R80 swap and that it was simple.
I asked you where those sites were, besides that terminator thread that I linked....
I don't see any real detailed info other than the svt terminator forum..or a $159 manual that i can buy..

One of the first responses to a google search.

https://www.svtperformance.com/threads/04-6r80-swap-cobra.1157623/

This isn't the only one I've seen. Google man, look around. I've seen multiple cars on multiple forums with it done already. Power by the Hour makes parts for it, stiffler's makes parts for it...

yes..I know..I linked that terminator forum prior to you linking it....
All others links are either short on details, just inquiring or talking about other auto trans.

I've seen the stifflers cross member..that is in the SVTP terminator forum.

The 6R80 is truly unique because it is a ZF design and related in design to the Chevy/Ford 10RXX...
I know what this ZF transmission means as I'm also an AUDI guy..

IMO the SVTP terminator guys are pioneering the 6R80 swap,..no one else is doing this as thoroughly or even at all!

Still, I will continue to search and post in the terminator forum....

Thanks.
