Traded in my GT for an ST.

Recently traded in my 2014 Mustang GT track pack for a 2018 Fiesta ST. I needed a daily driver since I drive 100 miles a day for work. The mustang wasn't cutting it. 3.73 gears and fast driving was only getting me about 19 mpg. The ST is holding firm at about 32 mpg. This plus my son starts driving next year so the ST will become his in time. I really like this ST. Like a little pocket rocket. Great bang for the buck. To bad they didn't offer these in rwd or awd. Not sure if I'll mod the ST or not...I'm fighting the urge.

I believe so yes.
“The Ford had seemed competent enough on the track, but on the road, it's a revelation. It's full throttle everywhere and trail-brake and body roll and just thrilling. "You wouldn't want to go any faster on these roads than the Fiesta can go," Cammisa says. It's a rare moment of sanity from our in-house drift-master, but he has a point. There's enough brake, enough power, enough grip. Smith notes that it has roughly the power-to-weight ratio of an E30-chassis BMW M3, and it shares that car's appetite for the road—if you can't go fast in the Fiesta, you can't go fast.”

Vs the BRZ on track.

Welcome to the club. I keep my GT500 for good weather and rarely drive it. The FiST is a blast for commuting, and I will continue to mod it.

The FiST is very much a sweetheart. I got one as a 2nd car to keep the miles off my of '17 GT350 , don't tell the Shelby but the FiST is much more fun to drive '90%' of the time (the time being NOT on the track or an open back road of course :) )

Ive been watching prices/dealer stock on them for a few years now since I did autocross heavily a few years ago...saw some rebates and the news of discontinuation I pulled the trigger. Been wanting something I can carry people/equipment in, trudge in the snow/rain, and have a little fun with at the same time basically all the stuff I couldn't do with 2 doors and RWD - FiST is definitely a wonder car.

Too bad they did not catch on here (typical American tastes) but I really knew I had have to one when I visited Europe for the first time. Theres a reason why Fiesta is the no 1 selling car in UK...

Yes those fiestas are very fun to drive especially once tuned. We have an awesome tune for those that our customer's have been extremely happy with. Let me know if you have any questions my name is Jake. Enjoy your new ride

Sadly our cars can only really carry small people or double amputees in the back lol.

We have a Livernois Race Tune in our 2015 Fiesta ST. It made a huge difference. It's amazing how strong these little cars are with the proper tuning.

This thread is relevant to my interests.. I am started looking for a Fiesta ST recently, whats a good price to pay? Not a ton of inventory around, but seeing a few here and there.

Are the Recaros a must have item?

I love the recaro at 6.2 200lbs. Some my size or bigger say they are too narrow.

New with recaro I would say 20/21k and 18/19k without.
Used I’d say anywhere from 12-15k clean/straight with less than 50k miles.

I paid $17K out the door and mine has NAV and sunroof, but sadly no Recaros. I gave my 2015 ST to my oldest daughter. I plan on auto crossing this one.
