Indeed. I saw that vid of him at the gun range.
And the injury tracks well for the movie. With a guy like that, the movie character, you would expect him to have a bit of a "hitch in his step." The dude gets injured a lot. You can only imagine what the character would have gone through on previous jobs.

The style of shooting he is using is not really that difficult. Things like center axis relock look hard but mostly just look good on camera but it is really easy to pick up and shoot well using it. His 3 gun shooting is great and he is really skilled, but it isn't anything above and beyond what you could find at a local competition.
His knowledge of multiple fighting techniques is what makes him a badass. He isn't just acting for the movies, he is actually displaying the fighting prowess he has picked up from his training over the years.
I love this series. It just pisses me off to know he dies at the end. Seems like after all that shit, he deserves to make it out.
He dies? Is there a book or comic or something? I of course figured he could be killed at some point to finish the series but I didnt know it was set in stone.
I was able to meet Reeves, Dean Winters, and Michael Nyqvist during the final scenes shot at the BNY. I was working late that night, so when I was leaving for the day, they were just starting to set up right out side of the site trailer. They were all cool guys to BS with, etc, between takes.

AFAIK the John Wick movies drew inspiration from old films, graphic novels/comics and there were some tie-in comics, but it wasn't based on any one thing like a series of books...I think Marc may just be playing with our emotions.
I hope its just a guess on his part. Either way I'm still front and center to see this opening night, cause i know if he's going out, it's going to be spectacular!
