I have one of the performance upgrade differential cover that comes with the two support bolts (dont know what their official name is), who knows for sure how tight against the cradle caps are they suppose to be? like just snugged or is there a certain torque? It wasnt included in the instructions and cant find any info on it.

Well I might have just found the answer to my own question-------In the online instructions for the Ford racing cover they call them the Load bolts and recommend torque of 5-10 lb, I dont have the Ford cover but Im assuming that it would be the same for mine?

I purchased the Shelby differential cover and the instructions said 7 foot pounds. I just snugged the cradle cap bolts by feel and locked them in with the retainer nuts. I do remember the instructions saying be careful not to over torque them as it will destort the saddles. Hope this helps. I used my own judgement on this. Been ASE certified for 35 years. Telling my age. LOL
