Ummm. I was responding to the knob who things a knob is a finger dildo.Except you can’t shift the DCT using the knob. A lever duplicates the functions of the paddles.

Well at that point you’re just a peasant wishing for a sequential.Except you can’t shift the DCT using the knob. A lever duplicates the functions of the paddles.
Why havent the specs been released?
This is such a joke.

700+ , that leaves 800 on the table.Well from what I read in one of the articles it says they are still testing and certifying the engines. To me that sounds like Ford is holding off to see what power they need to rate it at. Could be waiting to see what Ford and Chevy release or they could be waiting to see how the car is received and how much everyone is going to complain about it having just 700hp.

Sorry, I row my own and was addressing a different knob.....Well at that point you’re just a peasant wishing for a sequential.
A three pedal sequential isn’t rowing your own? Let’s tell all the pro’s they’re in bitch mode then.Sorry, I row my own and was addressing a different knob.....
How’d we get from the knob in the Gt500 to a sequential?A three pedal sequential isn’t rowing your own? Let’s tell all the pro’s they’re in bitch mode then.

When you say a lever duplicates the function. The function is literally a push/pull for shifting down/up much like a sequential transmission. So in reality you’re asking for the functionality of a sequential, without the third pedal. Since this car won’t have a third pedal, aka the peasant sequential (as I have deemed it). How’d we get from the knob in the Gt500 to a sequential?

Yes for traditional steering wheel mounted DCT/automatic levers. But the console mount lever is push/pull and changes between manufacture on which motion does what.Pretty sure it's a pull/pull, one on each side. At least, if it's like every other paddle shifter out there, it is.

No, but he didn't say crank or rwhp either.Didn't he say "over 750 hp" when they released it?

11-12 GT500 with stronger rods and youre good to 1000 on the pistons and crank (per Mahle). Let the 13-14 value skyrocket. You can make an 11-12 faster for less money then. No need to go to the ladyboi's in Bowties or Dodge. The price of this GT500 is why I will quietly begin moving my way to a Camaro or Dodge if/when I want a factory monster. Somewhere along the line, post 2014 Ford all of the sudden thought they were a Ferrari manufacturer. I think the Ford GT got to their heads a bit.
NO SOUP FOR YOU!No manual option
