Have you tried different gels? I have a few areas that break out with most gels where it digs deep. The shave butter has worked well, and Target has an oatmeal based one (think it's an off white bottle, don't recall brand) that worked better than stuff that cost double.

Ive tried everything. Gillette razors and shave gel are all ive used for 20+ years with no issues. The DSC butter, preshave and aftershave leave me burned to hell. The razors leave me looking like Buffalo Bill tried to **** me.

dorco has a 7 blade cartridge you might try...though I don't know if more blades are necessarily the answer, might try fewer like 4.

For me less is more. I cant use more than 3. Usually 2 blades works for me

I will give those a try. No way i can stick with gillette now. The nivea didn’t work before when i used it.

I have very sensitive skin and have to stay clean shaven for work. I've had skin cancer 3 times now and a nice scar on my face from one of the surgeries. This combo has worked well for me. I also use a few different after shave balms and I get zero burn. Currently I use Black Jack post shave cooling gel.

Damn that sucks. My neck burns and just goes rolling up under the razor. Damn skins just peels up. My face is rough as hell from being in the sun and staying dry. I burn like a fool with anything sharp. Gillette had a cooling gel that works great for me.

Im gonna call gillette and give them a piece of my mind.

I love how this went from a SCREW them thread to a so you use what kinda ball shave butter?
LOL!!!!!!!!
BTW, i had my wife watch the commercial and she said it was a positive commercial and anyone that gets butthurt over it needs to grow up.

Did i mention my wife voted for Hillary?

Lol i know right? Time old questions..what shit do you use to shave and not get razor burn?

On to your second point. Speaking for myself, the ad generalizes that all men are scumbags. That’s the main problem i have with it.

Given some of your replies, it's more work, but you might want to go old school with a straight razor. Very clean shave, just takes practice or might look like the Joker.

Yeah. I figured it that. MIL told me that was what she thought would work too
