I dont think the color matching cross bar is going to look good. It's too strong with the size and direction it sits in relation to the rest of the lines on the car.

yeah not a fan of it, just like the 2019 camaro with color matching bar, thought it looked better with that part blacked out.

That argument for the rotary is ridiculous. If someone is worried about console space in Halo Mustang, its the wrong car for that person. I can assure you Im not in the market for the car, but the decision to put it in a GT500 is stupid as hell.

Love the car otherwise, looks like what Id picture a 'roided out S550 to look like.

Also, for how many times Ive heard about people bitch about the lack of an Auto option for the GT500's Im kinda lol'ing over the hate for an automated DTC. Ill reserve judgement on the DTC until one of our guys gets one and reviews it. Just as long as it has better syncros in it than my TR6060 haha.
Ford should have been sued time and time again on the 1-2 shift issues. Totally rediculous.

GAP only covers the loan amount, and from what I recall, institutions will not allow you to take a loan on ADM.

Gotcha. Thought about that but wasn't sure if that was actually the case. Essentially it is like paying a down payment then.

Not necessarily true. A lot of lenders will loan above MSRP on vehicles. My local credit union will loan up to 125% of the car's value. So if a new GT500 MSRP's for $90,000 I could (but wouldn't) borrow up to $112,500 for it. They don't care where the extra cost comes from. If I get GAP insurance it will cover the cost of the entire loan.

It was a Tremec issue with misery shared by the Big 3, according to my local Tremec dealer. Wasnt even the semi-remote shifter either, tough the factory shifter is a complete joke (I <3 my MGW). Tremec dealer here in Phoenix has TR6060's from all over the metro area including Camaro Challenger and GT500s. They (Tremec) realized they had an issue and developed the hybrid synchros, though none have ever made it into parts catalogs of the Big 3.

I knew this affected earlier 500s, did not know it impacted other makes using the 6060. Was this a problem in later TR6060s (13-14 500s, 14-15 5th gen camaros), current ones like the 6th gen camaro?

From my understanding it was improved in the 13-14 GT500 but I do hear a lot less complaints from the Trinity crowd.

As for the other makes, Im not sure if they ever were. I went in to buy my hybrid synchros (just to make sure I had a full 1-4 set) and it looked like a late model Camaro was on the rack getting syncros installed.

i hate the rotary shifter on any vehicle...don't like the wing on the gt500 either...but the wing is easily fixed

I really like how it looks. I do agree about having the front bumper body color. This would look better without the stripes.
