You get the feeling Ford doesn't care much about this car. Can we talk about how lame that video game intro was too? Carroll is rolling over in his grave.

WTF just happened? I thought they were revealing a the GT500? LoL

12 stangs and 2 GT500s to my credit, I’m a fan boi, but that was f’ing lame. Wow.

And 3.5 secs to 60, with DCT, sorry that’s a fail stat right there.

Venom kills Demons? I remember the Demon reveal, compared to that, Ford really just phoned this in.

Not a great sign, like they they had nothing to brag about so they didn’t say anything. The crowed was so quiet, unless he asked them for a hand, it was like silence.

I’m sad at the loss of a handbrake

Car will be a monster performer.

10.80’s@133+ so far with 740hp.

•hellcat redeye acceleration +
•zl1 + hotlapping/ grip
•great mustang styling.

I’m also going to guess a very high top speed

Can't say what the embargoed information entails (sorry!) but suffice it to say that there is no mention of a front tow hook. First person to confirm gets a free internet cookie.

it can be seen in the road/show video

The car does look absolutely stunning. Wish the wing flowed as well as that of the 350R though.

Really wish Ford had kept a manual option for the purists.

Don't bother fixating on the PR shit. You'll forget that in a few weeks. This is just how they do it.

The point is, what would you think if you were just told there was a Mustang that:

- Ran 10s in the 130s, repeatably, stock
- Was legitimately track ready in terms of cooling capability despite having a 2.65 TVS
- Had a proper legitimate DCT that was better than the DCT in a lot of supercars
- Was available with exposed CF wheels and wing
- Had some of the most monster brakes ever put on a sports car

Pretty decent Mustang. This car is kind of a GT2 RS to the GT350R's GT3 RS, but with an even bigger hardware disparity.

If you're a track guy, this will be a great car to hustle, and it will indeed hustle. It's just heavy.

If you care about going in a straight line, it's pretty fast as it is, but it's a very good platform to start with. I mean really, regardless of what the engine gets sold at, it's capable of making a lot of power. With a DCT and real tires, it will fly in a straight line too.

I agree with you on this, lol.

Just hope price doesn't keeps in the Mustang realm.

Where did you get those facts?

I am pretty certain the zl1 1le still is the faster road course car.
I dont have any facts but I am very hard pressed to believe it wont edge out the 1le. But not by much. The 1le is still a monster
